Thank you. This is so exciting. There aren’t too many good politicians in NY, and we need a breath of fresh air, like Kudlow.
You’re welcome; glad to help!
Posting and tweeting about a Kudlow campaign can really help.
There’s also a Draft Larry Kudlow Facebook page.
“Posting and tweeting about a Kudlow campaign can really help.”
I agree, and calling talk shows helps, too.
That's what you and I say. It's certainly not what the voters in NY are going to say.
That article makes a lot of sense to me. What part do you dispute.

Kudlows only solution to illegals flooding the US is to increase the number of uneducated poor legal immigrants from Mexico to 400,000 a year? He is against securing the border because it won’t be perfect. “You can build a fence, but desperate Mexicans in search of economic opportunity will climb over it”. The same can be said about the rest of the poor in South America(or the world) who would love to be in the US. He trivializes the cost of illegals “only 10 percent of illegal Mexicans have sent a child to an American public school”. What he ignores is the high cost per student($18,300 in NYC)and the fact that those illegals have large families that overwhelm the school and health care systems. By Kudlows reasoning California is in a better financial situation today because of all the poor illegals that have flooded that state. Kudlow also belittles those who disagree with him on this issue as “blinded by fear-mongering”. On his radio show Kudlow has insinuated that this is about racism.
I live in NY. Sure he would be better then Sen Shmuck but I have no doubt that Kudlow as Senator, a Conservative Party candidate, would vote for a Comprehensive Immigration Reform Bill with no serious enforcement provisions.
That is why Larry Kudlow is an idiot when it comes to illegals.
As I said before (with tongue in cheek) in liberal NYS, it might help him. :)
Its not that Kudlow and other free market capitalists are trying to create a wave of illegal immigration. What doesn't get reported is that they also want ot get rid of minimum wage laws and government entitlements that encourage these people to come here and do nothing. It is a fact that there is currently a shortage of unskilled labor that is actually willing to work.
“And if you’re blaming immigration for all of California’s troubles (or even most), that makes you something worse than an idealogue.”
Californias nearly 3 million illegal immigrants cost taxpayers at least $9 billion each year. California is presently facing a $20 billion budget gap. So yes, I would consider that a major factor in California’s troubles.
A study listed in the Manhattan Institute came to the conclusion that immigrant families cost each native-born household in California an additional $1,200 a year in taxes.

“He’s not “trivializing” the cost of illegals, when is point is that a high percentage of them pay into the system without taking advantage of it”
Kudlow clearly trivializes costs of illegals with the disingenuous statement that roughly two-thirds of undocumented immigrants pay some tax. Its all about overall cost to a state which a free market capitalist such as Kudlow must understand. It doesn’t matter if many illegals pay taxes when fiscal impact studies invariably find that the expenditures attributable to illegal immigrants exceed their tax payments by a wide margin.

Of course, if I can easily hire an illegal for $80 a day with no repercussions why would I ever hire a legal worker?
