Lol! That’s OK.
On the other hand, we are all youngsters compared to the Yellowstone Hot Spot! :)

If the caldera blows, all of our present worries are over.

I’m about 90 miles north of the Park, so if she blows, I probably won’t have time for the last half of the “Oh, ****!”.
....does seem to be an awful lot of fuss to get one little old sinner like me, though.
To: Steve Van Doorn
I wish the caldera was very close to Chicago and the white hut.
If this blows it should fix unfunded liabilities in most states.

It doesn’t seem to be a great deal of pressure in my opinion at YMR. I don’t expect a huge event at Yellowstone with this swarm, but things could change.

Run? Which way!
We had a teensy one here in MI once and our chickens and horses ran in CIRCLES.
To: Steve Van Doorn
Nope. Can’t erupt. The EPA hasn’t issued a permit. That settles that. Move along, now, folks...(/s, as if...)

yellowstone YMR area is acting really odd. The last few days the quakes were at under 5 km now they are down PAST the level they started around at a months ago when the swarm started and it has picked up in frequency. They are now at 11 km down.
I can only assume it is a new wave coming up it is something to keep an eye on.
