I’m not a Senate rules maven but I believe changing the rules in the middle of a session requires more than a simple vote.

I’m not a Sentate rules maven, either, but have you been watching? Nothing is off-limits to them, the Constitution, Senate rules, nothing. A is not A with these people, it’s whatever they want it to be.

Who’s gonna stop them? The the judicial system? The DOJ?

First, rules do not apply to Dhimmi-rats. Second, the parliamentarian’s rulings are only advisory, Reid could simply ignore the ruling that allows the amendments.
