Talk about a company that “mainstreams” — all things Chinese — into the U.S. ... LOL...

But, on the other hand, there are a lot of other companies mainstreaming all things Chinese into this country too...

Foo-bar on all of them... :-)

Went into my local Walmart this week to look for a few specific items. Each item we priced there was either the same or MORE than at other local stores. There would be no reason for me to return to one of these megastores anytime soon. One of the items was nightlights, which I found for one-half the Walmart price at a store directly across the street from the Walmart.

If you're talking purely about price on the same items -- you'll find that all stores will vary in pricing and in just about every single store that you can go to... every last single one of them will be the "lowest price" in at least one product that you can find in the store.

So, in the end... just "shop" (if it's price you're talking about) and get the lowest priced item from each store... no matter what... :-)

Strip out these job cuts and we have full employment.

The Walmart here fires longer term employees and hires new ones every day. Most likely, the new hires cost less and they aren’t given benefits or their employee discount card until after some 3 months. One would think new hire training would run up costs but apparently not.

I haven’t been interested in rewarding Walmart with my money for some time now. Your mileage may vary.
