Were still seeing lots of corporations advertising their green credentials on what they are doing to combat climate change. Businesses may catch up to reality within, oh, ten years or so. Public schools will still be teaching AGW, all the glaciers gone by 2035, and drowning polar bears in 2050.
"Current satellite photos of the glaciers, you say? Polar bears eating people in Anchorage? Nonsense! It's a plot by George Bush to discredit Science!"

We recently bought a hybrid car and we are looking into solar to help with our electricity. No, we aren't doing it to be Green. We are doing it to save money. The Green Movement has tarnished the name of good and smart Conservatives who are simply moneywise. Love Steyn.

Climate change is not a story of climate change, which has been a fact of life throughout our planets history. It is a far more contemporary story about the corruption of science and peer review by hucksters, opportunists and global-government control-freaks. Steyn rules. Moonbats drool..

The WWF is a pressure group. Theyre not scientists. Theyre not even numerate: I was going to respond with an image of Hulk Hogan, but reconsidered because the Hulkster wold be more numerate than those guys.

Steyn is the best. Krauthammer can keep up with him in analytical ability, but Steyn combines that with the best writing, bar none.

As they say in the glacier business, ice work if you can get it.He has to provide more warning. I just about fell out of my chair, laughing. Not something I should be doing at work, where you're expected to be glum.

I think part of the appeal of his incisive wit is that he has an “ear” for the common turn of phrase, and routinely spoofs it. “Nice work if you can get it” is something that real people would say, while the groupthink left wouldn’t even think in those terms, or the potential application to a more humorous turn.
Brilliant and wonderful; I adore Steyn.

I wish there were some way to short Global Warming. Id make a fortune! I believe that weather is one of the trading categories on Intrade. I believe the problem will be that the Global Warmists won't bet their own money on their kooky ideas and we there won't be enough money on the other side of the trading table.

In the information age truth matters not. Its all media , hype , perception nothing more. The average TV citizen is a moron and can be fooled sooo easily. Actually, it's the other way around. In the information age, truth really matters.
Twenty years ago, the Global Warming Scam would've been signed, sealed and delivered. Those who controlled the legacy media would've had complete control of the debate.
However, the information age has broken their monopoly and allowed the truth to reach the surface.
Now, the Global Warming Scam is doomed. Only Lindsay Graham still believes in it...

Were still seeing lots of corporations advertising their green credentials on what they are doing to combat climate change. It's a P.R. thing.
1. They know being "green" saves them from having demonstrations in front of their offices and plants.
2. They think being "green" might help them sell their product to consumers -- since the media has convinced them consumers want "green" products from "green" companies. This is especially true if their customer is the government.
3. Because of #1, most major corporations contribute heavily to the "envirowacko" non-profits -- or, as Steyn styles them, the panda cuddlers. In fact, it is "protection money" -- and most left-wing non-profits have become very skilled at playing the extortion racket (Jesse Jackson probably taught them how it works).
4. Given the state of education today (especially what one might learn as an MBA at Harvard, Dartmounth, Penn), I wouldn't doubt that a large number of corporate executives actually fell for the scam. We'll see how many of them now have the intelligence to quietly walk away from "green".
