DGA sounds Tea Party alarm (Democratic Governors Assoc.)
politico ^ | 2/03/10 | DAVID CATANESE

On the eve of the first National Tea Party Convention, the Democratic Governors Association blasted a dire fundraising e-mail to supporters, warning that the loosely organized movement has become a “truly dangerous” political force.

“These guys aren’t going away. They’ve proven they can raise millions in a matter of hours and they’re skewing elections across the nation,” wrote Colleen Turrentine, the DGA's finance director.

“Can you imagine the havoc they would wreak if they took office en masse?” Turrentine continued. “If they had their way, how many states would even stay in the U.S.?”

It'll be interesting to see how the Dim fundraising base responds.

My thought would be you guys drained me in 2008 hitting me up for Presidential primaries, the general, congressional races. My money got you domination of all three branches, and now you're back less than two years later telling me you are screwing it up and need more of my money???

“Such filthy lowlifes who dare to object to taxation! Can we imagine the havoc they would wreak if allowed to have any voice in the government? How long would such usurpers even remain as our subservient 13 colonies?”

-— outraged British official writing to his superiors in London, 1773, contemplating the Boston Tea Party -—

I can’t wait for November, just can’t wait. I’m like a child on Christmas eve eyeing the presents under the tree with his name on them. My only fear is that this momentum won’t continue as Obama’s throws billions into the campaign from his illegal stash.

No matter what he manages to do though this is one voter who won’t be swayed. They’ve insulted and belittled, scorned and ridiculed me to the point that I want to see a bloodbath, not just a defeat.

I think his use of the word "skewing" reveals much about the Democratic mindset when it comes to elections. Any election in which the Democrat loses is "skewed."

Uh huh. These people are completely blind, and too insular to even know it.

They should be very afraid but the truth of the matter is that it doesn’t matter how much money they raise they will be voted out.

... a leaderless revolution, so far

It's not hard to keep it this way. Simply refuse to accept anyone who claims or who our enemies (MSM, RATS, RINOs) claim to be our leader. I don't care if it's Palin, DeMint, Pence or whoever....just do not accept them. Refuse to let anyone define us. Keep 'em guessin".

If that’s what amounts to skewing elections, I say “Skew away.”

Sour grapes for the democrats.

For starters look up Debra Medina's column 'Latinos and the GOP'

'It’s a shame isn’t it, that Republicans continue to ignore Hispanics especially here in Texas?' Debra Medina

'Ignore them', Mrs Medina? Since when? What more do you want? Or shouldn't we ask?

Medina ad:

“Who is going to think more about Latino families? Rick Perry, Kay Bailey Hutchison or me, who has a Latino family?” (Medina’s cultural heritage is German and Bohemian.)

She told a colleague last month in an e-mail. “Being married, however, to someone with a Mexican American heritage, I certainly embrace the culture.” But before she explained that, she told my colleage, who had asked her whether she considers herself Latina: “I’d not consider myself anything other than a wife and mother, a nurse and a patriot. I believe we too often get into race when it’s immaterial.”

No, Thanks, Mrs Medina.

She is also running Spanish ads. Hello Mrs.Medina! If they cannot speak English then they have no business voting IMO. When they learn English then let them vote. Assimilate. Learn English. Appreciate all America gives you.

So I’m sure she is blowing a lot of hot air just like Obama did just to get elected. Running those ads and saying what she has, tells me the border issue is just a try to get votes for herself.

No, thanks, I’ll stick with ‘ol RINO Perry. Texas has remained in better shape than almost any if not all of the states in the union under Perry's watch. As someone said, 'he's the devil we know'.

The motly crew running for governor is laughable; a MUSLIM, a trecherous RINO woman* (Hutchison) and a woman with questionable loyalties

*Feds Have Built Only 32 Miles of 700 Mile Double-Border Fence Originally Mandated by Congress “One reason DHS has been able to do this is an amendment that Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R.-Texas) slipped into an omnibus appropriations bill that Congress passed on December 18, 2007. Hutchison’s amendment put a loophole in the fence law that allowed the secretary of Homeland Security not to build the fence Congress had mandated the year before.”

As has been said before, if they cannot face without fear, Moms, Dads, Grandparents, from all walks of life, who are non violent, salt of the earth people, many of whom toiled and built this country!, how are they to be expected to face even criminals, let alone terrorists. Cowards, and fear mongers. They would have us be afraid of the nice older couple living next door or down the street, the very ones who are first to offer to help out with anything that you might need done.

(Medina's cultural heritage is German and Bohemian.)

That doesn't matter to Dummycrats. As long as she somehow managed to have and use a Hispanic name, even by marriage, she's as good as a real Latina to masses of voters in Texas. But that won't be enough for her in Texas, not this year!

Democrats have played the Hispanic card (even fraudulently) to their advantage in many places around the country in past three or four decades, but it won't fly now in a statewide election, not with Obama's unpopularity in a "red" state.

“...domination of all three branches...”

Correction, all two branches...the do not quite have the Supreme Court yet. (The House & Senate is one branch - Legislative).
