I thought this was NOT going to be a heavy rain maker...
ping!
I’m in Vegas, we get whats left a half day later.
Storms lining up in the Pacific have again begun to make their way into the West. At times, including the next few days, their rain and mountain snow will stretch from Southern California to Washington and areas well inland.
While the overall strength and frequency of the storms will not be as intense as that of a couple of weeks ago, there will be enough rain, enough of the time, to raise problems with flash flooding and mudslides, as well as roadway and flight delays.
See the Graphic...it’s coming your way.
The wind was blowing real good this morning when the 5.9 quake hit but the rain missed Humboldt Bay again so you can have it all. Radar shows it is raining east of us from the Ore border to about Willows and just west of I-5...
I glad I went to El Centro today. It is only 39 feet below sea level.
That information is for the Amazon, we’ll get a bit late.
I did turn off the automatic sprinklers.
That is what I thought too... a lighter rain this round. Hmmmmmm....
That is rather slick....by zooming in I see some yellow on the map just offshore....
