Must have rained good during the night here,...standing water in my little rose garden area at the front of my little patio....wind seems to be making good noise over the roof of the building.
Egads, I'm looking up at the sky and seeing that very purple blue line in the sky with the word Jet and arrows.
How did you know we'd get that?
Big area of yellow on the map at #15 southwest of Barstow...will get a report from my daughter later.
She is coming down mid morning with two HS girls who are going to Knotts Berry Farm....think there might be some boys they know showing up there too.
They aren’t worried about any rain...according to my daughter ,...LOL!

Orange County continues to be lashed with rain and strong winds this morning after a west Pacific storm unexpectedly gained power overnight. Parts of the county have received 2 of rain since 9 p.m. Friday, creating mudslide and debris flow dangers in the eastern foothills and canyons. (Irvine is getting slammed hard at this moment, readers say.) Dohenydaze, a regular reader of this site, says, Pouring again in Capo Beach. Rain coming down the fireplace wall.
At 7:45 a.m., CHP said there were 25 traffic accidents and hazards on county freeways. (Traffic). The storm was expected to drop only 0.75 to 1 on most areas, and die out by late Friday evening.
The heavy rain has closed southbound Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach, between Warner and Golden West. Street flooding is occurring throughout the county. A flash flood watch is in effect until 4 a.m. Sunday.
Winds continue to be gusty, hitting 30 mph at the Huntington Pier and 25 mph at the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana.
A large mudslide has been reported in La Canada, not far from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
Storm was bigger than advertised...not done yet.
