Brown is a senator now and possibly a future presidential candidate. Little yapping dogs biting at his ankles should not worry him. He needs to do battle with the likes of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and the Zero. Kennedy is a nobody, a never-was.
Besides, it's impossible to respond to all the little jerks. Imagine if Sarah Palin had to respond to all her critics. That's all she'd be doing 24/7.
