WASHINGTON, D.C. - A stung U.S. Sen. Scott Brown lashed out at U.S. Rep. Patrick Kennedy today for insulting his landmark win by calling his candidacy “a joke.”
Brown said Kennedy’s remarks are “mean spirited,” especially coming on the day he was celebrating being sworn into office.
“I was elected and the votes are certified and I’m here to do my job. It’s unfortunate that he would use mean-spirited comments like that at a time when we’re just trying to solve the problems of the Commonwealth,” Brown said today on his first full day on the job.

Actually, I think it is d@mned civil, compared to Senator Kennedy’s comments in regard to Judge Bork - and certainly more likely to be closer to reality than were Ted’s comments...YMMV ;)

No, Micheal Kennedy was raping the baby sitter. He skied into a tree on Copper Bowl Trail. William Kennedy Smith raped the girl in Florida on a typical Easter weekend. I know, I know, so many Kennedy reprobates it’s hard to keep up.

Brown handles himself well in every situation...has an uncanny focus when people are speaking to him or asking questions, he hears them. Though he has stated quite clearly he will make mistakes, and he will, overall he presents himself in a manner we’d like to see more of in DC.
DC will try to wear him down so only time will tell if he can maintain the unusual level of confidence and convictions he has. Hopefully he will swing a little further to the right...we shall see.
Next thing you know, Patches will be wearing a neck brace.

I agree. as a fellow believer these past few years have dripped with Gods sense of humor and irony. Humanistic men that just don't get it. I especially love the blizzards during global warming, the reports from the fake weather stations in the former Soviet Union.
I appreciated the fall of the Soviet Union as well.
