JOHNSON OVERTAKES PAUL IN THE POLLS

Shamrock Polling conducted the statewide poll for an undisclosed client.  Questions regarding the poll can be directed to Persistence Consulting (persistenceconsulting@gmail.com).  The Johnson for U.S. Senate campaign did not pay for or participate in this poll.  The results are consistent with internal polling done by the campaign.

I was impressed with the other 2 candidates on certain issues ... but this guy seems to be even further to the right. Very interesting. Makes Dick Cheney look like a rino. LOL

Yeah. Personhood pro-lifer, peace through strength Reaganite, moral conservative, constitutionalist. He’s a veteran too.

His website is:

If you check out Youtube he’s got a number of videos there that are worth watching.

No. Grayson was always the party-backed frontrunner. Few in the political establishment gave Bill Johnson the time of day. But he’s overcome that because he’s a quality candidate who’s taking it directly to the people of Kentucky.

That’s not a surprising number this far out. The primary is May 18th, I think.

Makes Dick Cheney look like a rino. LOL

That's because he is. Look no further than endorsements for John McCain, Kay Bailey Hutchison and Gay marriage.

My pleasure. I’ve gotten to know Bill, and I think he’s one of the finest candidates in the country. If we can fill Congress with folks like him there is hope.

Any info on Johnson?

An opportunist looking to split the conservative vote and give the primary victory to Grayson.

"Internal polls" are used to drum up support for candidates all the time. This doesn't pass the smell test.

IOW, once again conservatives split their vote and the RINO gets nominated? Deja vu all over again.

This isn't an internal poll.

And reportedly, the Grayson campaign is saying that their internals confirm these numbers. Except that they're a bit higher for Johnson and a bit lower for Paul.

There was a second poll released as well. The difference is that this information didn’t come from Bill Johnson’s press secretary. It one was an internal poll taken by the Trey Grayson campaign, the Republican Party sponsored candidate. I think I believe this one as well. It shows Bill Johnson one point higher and Paul one point lower!
