Nevermind her for Govenor, I’d rather see her in the US Senate.

Lib-tard is a brain dead liberal.

Rep-tard is a brain dead republican.

Property taxes mean you never own your own home or any other property, the state does. Stop paying your property taxes and see how quickly your property disappears.

Exactly. You don't own home, you rent it from the government at the whim of arbitrary market values.

You know CA had a golden opporutnity when they got rid of Gray; but they threw it away with both hands. Don’t do the same.

WARNING: Get ready for the Rep-tard attacks on Medina to follow.

Haven't you heard, "tard" is offensive and shall no longer be used. Palin said so.

Firstly, watch who you’re calling lazy. Secondly, I live in Washington State. We have our work cut out for us ousting Patty Murray and replacing her with a conservative Republican.

My only care is that ALL states have very conservative Republicans voted into public office. But especially in Texas, which as a border state I would hope stands as a bulwark againsst this invasion of illegal aliens violating of our sovereignty.

That said, I am looking closely at Debra’s words (and so should you!):

“...The majority of immigrants who are now here illegally have that status because the immigration process is no longer a process at all, but another example of runaway government red tape and bureaucracy...”

Bullshit.

1. They are not “immigrants”. The term ‘Illegal aliens’ appears in Federal Statutes with the definition of “a foreign national in this country illegally”. THEY ARE NOT IMMIGRANTS! Immigrants are legal resident aliens.

2. Does she blame the folks who break our laws? No. She faults the U.S., and takes aim at our immigration laws, which work just fine as long as enforced vigorously.

“...Individuals must be held accountable for their actions, and those who break our laws and violate our sovereignty cannot get a free pass, regardless of their circumstances...”

Good. I like what she said here, but somehow, sandwiched between two statements that contradict this one, I doubt it means anyone will be deported.

“...But coming to the greatest state of the greatest country in the world should still inspire hope, not fear. It should mean dealing with the world’s most efficient immigration system,..”

“But”, there’s the qualifier. And again, she blames the U.S. for its immigration system, which the majority of our citizen believe to be satisfactory and want to see enforced.

In essence she is claiming our immigration laws as a sovereign nation are to blame for this invasion of millions of illegal aliens, the majority of whom are from Mexico.

Do you realize how irrational her position is? It is identical to that of the progressives/socialists/Democrats.

When I first contacted her campaign asking about her and her background; they would not give any information; only pointed to her website with little or no information.

She needs to run for City Council or Mayor somewhere and establish a track record then if she proves to be what she says she is, run for Governor next time. One politician noted only speech delivery skills is enough and we already have that in Washington. You may not like Perry but at least you know what kind of devil he is and what you are likely to get with him at the helm. Some of his proposals have met with great opposition and they are now off the table - he does show the ability to be persuaded by the electorate. Electing Medina as Governor would be equal to having a first year medical student performing a heart bypass operation or open heart surgery unassisted!

I agree. There is absolutely no reason for her to run for the highest office in the state out right out of the chute.

I just don’t know. Gut instinct tells me no.

Thank you. Watched both youtube links.

So, what don’t you like about my observations concerning her opinion of our immigration system?

Watch out, you will stir up the Palin-iacs to feel they have to defend her endorsement of RINO McCain before endorsing RINO and former DEMOCRAT Rick Perry!

Go with your gut. If she would come out and say she would close the border between Texas and Mexico, deport all illegals and their families if they don’t want to be separated from them and fine the hell out of employers who hire illegals, then I’d vote for her. Otherwise, you go with the best of the alternatives for now - and that’s Perry IMO. There are a number of conservatives who have a battle royal on their hands this year fighting to keep their local Congressional seat - and they need all kinds of help. The state legislature is very, very close to going Democrat. Must not let that happen.

I don't agree with anything you said. Federal agents are charged with protecting the border. The current Federal enforcement is a sham. I agree with Medina. I agree with Perry.

Yeah, I had the unmitigated gall to ask a question about her speaking fee and whether it would be used for candidates like McCain and Graham. I was called a whiner, an idiot and accused of hijacking a thread. Interestingly, the question was never answered. The Palin Amen Chorus doesn't like questions.

That it is our fault they are here?

Medina says :

As governor, she said, she would “not militarize the border,” but would deploy units of the Air, Army and Texas National Guard to assist local law enforcement in securing the Mexican border against the threat from drug cartels.
