I mentioned my refugee status to help explain why when I write something it doesn’t always mean what I think. English is not my native tongue. Hubby says he’s surprised that there would be so much suspicion, anger and he suggested the number of posts thing because he thought that you folks were like in the military who go by rank and time in service to determine who is superior. (He says I’m like an E-1 Private here and you all are officers?) I guess its my fault for not knowing all there is about a forum and blog differences.. Maybe its the money contributed thing that creates more personable behavior(?). I’ll try out the picture thing and ask hubby to check my posts more often but he’s usually at the base during the day (at least he’s home). !!
Nope, we don’t go by rank here. Except for Jim Robinson, who owns the place.
We get infiltrators here, whose lone purpose is to disrupt. When someone is new, we tend to look more closely. There are trolls who have been here for years though. A large batch of them got zotted a couple years ago on what came to be known as the Bugzapper Thread. Some of them are still around, but they’re kept impotent by their shortage of numbers and loss of anonymity.
You could be a Martian for all we know or care. But it you're going to talk like a liberal when you have no posting history to indicate otherwise, people are going to presume that it's legitimate.
We can't see you over the internet and nothing in your use of the English language would indicate that English is not your native tongue. I've met plenty of native born US citizens who don't understand the things you're confused about either.
Again, it's not that anyone thinks they are superior to others. That's not what rank is all about anyway. Rank is about authority, not superiority. Just because someone has authority over you, doesn't mean they are better than you.

No, because I don't know or care who donates what to FR. The information is available but I really don't care.
For what it's worth, I don't even post comments like yours without indicating sarcasm (a simple /s will do). There's just too much chance of being misunderstood.
Beware, some of those you are dealing with are not "officers".
They may be skanky internet harridans with infections.
These diseased harridans see great conspiracies where in fact
there are only disagreements. They are diseased. Wear gloves.
They lack the maturity to see that folks who disagree with
them may not be villians, but merely folks of another opinion.
