From what I’ve read Moose have a natural boom-and-bust population cycle. They have baby-boom years and birth dearth years. As waves of boomers die off the population drops until the next boom. This creates an echo effect with the timber wolf population. When there are a lot of old arthiritic moose around to prey upon they thrive. When there are few moose or they are all fast and young they struggle. They had written off the timber wolf as doomed and next thing you know they were showing up at strip malls in suburban Minneapolis.
here in NY we have no limits on coyotes....I shoot them on sight as they are not in any way endangered or threatened and they do eat lots of whitetail fawns....
We do the same in OH.
I am suprised you don’t hear Ashly Judd trying to save coyotes as well as wolves. She is such an expert on conservation. /s
“’There’s more and more evidence suggesting it’s related to climate,’ Lenarz said.”
Moose manure!
Although MN DNR says the wolf population in the state is not growing, Hunters in the state say wolf mismanagement by DNR has allowed the population to ride to 7000 wolves. DNR claims the wolf population is less than 3,000.
I believe the hunters. Wolves are responsible for the decline in the elk population.

LMAO, you saved me a few minutes searching for that very jpg.
Its probably that darn sign on I35. (s)
The Twin Cities, the Duluth area and the Indian reservations are the liberals. The rest of Minnesota is mostly conservative and very patriotic.
Don’t forget “da Range.”
Boris and Natasha?
Damn, beat me to it. You’re quick.

Sounds vaguely familiar.
However, since your flag is TN, I should ask how you know, considering the recent very close election, followed by the somewhat bogus appearing vote count that placed the “clown”, in the Senate.
I say familiar since I live “next door” in SD. Where Sioux Falls, and the Indian Reservations “enjoy” much the same liberal majority, while the rest of the state retains much of its sanity.
Perhaps after decades of decadent pop-culture the moose have turned gay and stopped procreating as nature intended.
your right on with that one......for the dumb in government, wolves eat meat....moose goes a long way with a medium size pack..
I was born and raised in Midwestern Minnesota. My whole family still lives there. We go visit every summer. Minnesota is home.
