On second thought. This could be a federal wolf project. The feds aren’t that stupid! Are they? Uncontrolled animal life of any kind in any state is an indication man has not been responsible in caring for the kingdom he has been given.

Might be bad tree bark, at least thats what our moose eat here in Alaska, and they absolutely love to lick road salt off of any un-washed vehicle, makes an interesting art pattern though.
Maybe the road salt is contaminated? My first thought is that its another “green change” scenario that is backfiring.
I swear we need to FReep the issue of all the worst failures of the “green changes” like frozen wind turbine, the Prius recal, eco friendly Shuttle insulation that kills, etc.

Wolves are causing lots of problems for the big game populations of both Minnesota and Wisconsin. There is getting to be way to many of them.
To: From The Deer Stand
Simple solution, you go helo-hunting with an M1A. The .308 is a more humane way to cull wolves than traps, one shot, one kill.
I say that because it caught so much flak and mis-guided attention up here in Alaska.

Oh, really?
Where is the data to support this claim?

MN DNR doesn’t know. Period.

If the moose population really did decrease from last year to this year due to global warming, it would be logical that this year is warmer than last year in the region where the die off occurred. It fact, it was colder. Northern Minnesota has been weather typical of the '60's for the last several years. (That's the period when the alarmists were predicting global cooling, and -40 degree temperatures were happening regularly in the region.) If weather is really killing moose, it is cold, not warm that is doing it.
This is a typical report by an ignorant reporter: find any bad statistic, and blame it on global warming. If you read it in the 'Trib, you know its wrong.
