Glad I don’t live there — although, they’ll be planting their spring annuals in six weeks.

A few of the areas in Maryland that got near 30 inches in the last storm could get close to another 30.
Good thing they were painting the roofs of buildings in DC white. When the snow first fell, it did not melt because of the lack of heat on the white roof. Wonder how many of those white painted roofs will be collapsing. /sarc.

Daughter and grandkids flight from JFK to PHX tomorrow was canceled. They are hoping to get to Phoenix on Sunday.

Flat roofs are in danger of collapsing, whatever their color.

The storm has moved on. Other then windy conditions. I can see easily a half mile at this point. Looks as if I will hardly have a few days without more snow moving into the region.
I sure miss having a home where I had a private driveway and nice big garage that allowed me to then enter my basement.
I used to routinely get snow when I lived some sixty miles north of Philly. Often they would get rain down here, and we would get snow. In fact it would be raining in Allentown PA, and I would be getting snow a few miles up the road due the closeness to the blue mountain range.
But then. I did not live in a row home district. Cars packed along the streets. This is a real bear when it snows a lot.
I wonder how I shall fair when I do get back to work. My body is a bit beat up. Eight hours on the hard concrete floors are going to do me in.
I have to find a job where I can test the comfort of beds for eight hours. I would be willing to work such a job say for $100/hour. I most probably would even consider sacrificing and working a lot of over time.

That was on Thom Hartmann. Not as insane as Mike Malloy, the one who said F. von Hayek and Ludwig von Mises were in cahoots with the Nazi’s. I live in the Twin Cities area, which is Enemy Territory, lots of barking moonbats.

It’s interesting, but white roofs are not helpful in snow conditions.
