Univision ^ | October 26, 2008 | Univision

To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?
I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.

You don’t have to have mass deportations. Just make it incredibly unpleasant and stressful to be an illegal here, and most will leave.

You don’t like Palin’s response of a secure border and against illegals.

This is your response?? This is her plan?

This is it????

You avoided my entire post....Didn't even mention what Palin's plans are in regards to long needed severe sanctions and criminal penalties for employers that hire millions of these people...You're a political groupie...These country killing issues mean nothing to you people...You only care about your party, and your little candidate.....You offered no GD response at all....

We saw and heard all this arrogant sh*t during the Bush years....Vote for our candidate or else....Don't ask any details....You wont get any...

No reason to talk to you anymore...

So these political lying frauds get it, mass deports could be done at the DMV, law enforcement, and employer level, all done legally as they're done today, but on larger scale....These political hacks and frauds know this.

Lemee ask ya a direct question SoCalPol...

If we’re at war, why did Bush fail to secure our borders during wartime, from a conga-line of millions that entered our country during war time, from Gods knows where, not to mention the 800 tons of drugs and Lord knows what else that were/are being smuggled in, during the Bush Administration...all during war time?

On second thought, I've seen and heard all these lies and crap before, during the Bush years...

These people cater to and kiss the asses of these millions of illegals because they work for dirt cheap for the political insiders that run many of the businesses, the same businesses that fund the campaigns of these political frauds to ensure the borders remain wide f'ing open....

THE FIX IS IN

These freaks could care less if American neighborhoods are turned to sh*t, or if they choke off our hospitals, schools, jails, and social services....They simply don't give a sh*t...

Profits over principles, party over patriotism.....Profits regardless of consequences

We've been betrayed and we're surrounded by traitors.

I don’t have any quotes, I just know of interviews she did many months ago with different people, Rush, etc. There was an interview she did with someone, I forgot his name, where she went into detail about how she is against illegal immigration and that if they are here illegally they should be thrown out of the US, but I forgot the name of the guy

That completely contradicts what she said in this interview. Whether it be Kerry, Romney, or Palin, I hate flip-flopping; it's the worst pandering one can do aside from pandering to a block of illegals who would vote socialism as soon as they were made legal voters. This issue it too important to accidentally be wrong on or to be the slightest bit wish-wash on.

Sarah Palin’s role is NOT about details.

OooK

Did you see her speech Saturday night? If you did and you still think this way especially after all the information given on this thread just for starters...

If she is not about details, where is all this so called information coming from here?

Does Ms. Palin whisper details to her staff, and then they give out the details? Hows this work, if you could be specific?

In addition, did she offer any details and go over what her position is on employer sanctions and criminal penalties in regards to employers?

If so, please share.

Thank you.

How opposed to “Amnesty” can she be if she supports McAmnesty?

Of course even Obama it is opposed to Amnesty.

It is a “Path to Citizenship” remember?

I have no idea what the details are in Sarah Palin’s policy positions.

That’s what I said.

She is NOT about details.

Her speech was not about details.

So I can’t supply them for you.

If you don’t understand this - that’s just the way it is.

hate bombs

You sound like the DUmmies. I haven't said a single word that could be construed by any honest person as "hateful" about Sarah Palin. I've simply spelled out my principled conservative opposition to her based on her stated public policies - on the equal right to life of all in America, on the proper role of the executive, and on the preservation of our national sovereignty and security. If the day comes when that isn't allowed on Free Republic, all because of some weird political cult of personality, Free Republic will be for all intents and purposes DEAD. If that's now what the Republican Party is, the surmise of many of us that it is dead will be irrevocably true.

By the way, common courtesy on Free Republic is that you ping somebody if you're talking about them.

Misrepresenting and twisting Sarah Palin's statements in order to make her positions appear to be something that they're not is tantamount to "hateful", in my view.

"Honest"? Try not stuffing words and positions into Sarah's mouth that she has not spoken or advocated. That would be honest.

Your views on the potential candidates for the 2012 presidential election are no more appropriate here, than those of Howard Dean, or Michael Steele. End of story.

I'm done talking to you, sir.

She says abortion is up to the states, and that she supports a pathway to citizenship for illegal aliens. Nothing could be clearer, and you’ve been given it in verbatim transcript form. They’re her words. Sorry you can’t handle the truth.

In the last election she was involved in, she stated she

Where? Do you in fact even know the definition of amnesty? Apparently you don’t.

Supporting a pathway to citizenship is not amnesty. What is the pathway? A 20 year wait in Mexico with a $100,000 application fee?

Supporting a pathway to citizenship is not amnesty.

Well, John McCain uses the exact same language. And I don't know a single person who has been involved with the border security movement who thinks that John McCain doesn't support amnesty.

What is the pathway? A 20 year wait in Mexico with a $100,000 application fee?

Ask Sarah Palin. She's quite vague about a lot of things. But it's quite clear from her many interviews that somehow or another millions of folks who came here illegally are going to get to stay. To kick them out would not be "humane," you see.

But it's quite clear from her many interviews that somehow or another millions of folks who came here illegally are going to get to stay. You're contradicting yourself. Palin is against amnesty. How can illegals stay if they aren't granted amnesty? Who can grant amnesty?

Sorry. Everyone knows what “a pathway to citizenship” means. You’re wasting your time blowing smoke.
