Obama czar's 'homo-genda' proposed for U.S. schools

A homosexual congressman from Colorado has proposed a law critics say would give controversial federal school safety czar Kevin Jennings – a longtime homosexual-rights advocate – almost unlimited authority to mandate indoctrination in public schools at taxpayer expense.

"It doesn't get much more fascist than this! It's a sexual revolutionary's dream," wrote Linda Harvey of Mission America.

Under the legislation by Democrat Rep. Jared Polis, Jennings "can create pro-homosexual programs and policies to their hearts' delight," Harvey wrote.

Jennings founded the "Gay, Lesbian Straight Education Network" and now heads the office of "Safe and Drug Free Schools" at the Department of Education.

Polis' proposal would provide special protections for students who claim they are discriminated against because of their "perceived sexual orientation." The bill would call down the wrath of the federal government on offenders by classifying "actual or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity" alongside race, color, sex, disability or national origin as factors on which protections are based.

In a statement announcing his proposal, H.R. 4530, Polis said, "Every student has the right to an education free from harassment and violence. This bill will protect the individual freedoms of our students and enshrine the values of equality and opportunity in our classrooms."

But it actually won't, according to an analysis by Harvey. Instead, she said it will allow Jennings a virtual open door to set up whatever pro-homosexual programs he would choose.

When you write that column, if you can do it without risking compromising your screen name, post a thread on it and ping wagglebee or little jeremiah for the moral absolutes ping list or DirtyHarryY2K for the Homosexual agenda list.

So for the sake of your agenda you would risk having your children placed in foster “care”? Why not just take them out of school and legally homeschool them?

I fail to see how Charlie Baker intends to win the Governorship without the Womens’ Vote. Men in wigs and dresses intruding upon women is a violation of the rights of women.

Cause he's a lib, no doubt.

The problem they don't see with this is the opportunity for abuse that it opens the doors on.

ANY man can claim to be transgendered and go in a women's room if he wants when all he's looking for in reality is kicks and giggles, or sexually harassing women. Then when they complain, THEY'RE the guilty party and he can file charges against them and make their lives hell after violating them in some way and getting his kicks out of it.

Those guys don't have to actually rape someone to violate them. It can be done verbally or psychologically. And what about the young girls in there if he decides to expose himself?

This is just so wrong on so many levels.

My agenda isn’t leaving my children vulnerable to social services. Truancy charges will. The other poster wasn’t saying the something shouldn’t be done. They were saying that most parents would disobey the law over it leaving themselves open to losing their children even if it was short term.

"So for the sake of your agenda you would risk having your children placed in foster “care”? "

Sorry, but I had to revisit your post again.

You are the second "mom" who is wringing her hands over what I suggested. I didn't say a thing about "foster care", which is ridiculous.

What you call my "agenda", was just an idea based on the founding of this great country, even the founding of the current "tea party".

You're safe, you're homeschooling, but we now have an education "czar" who is homosexual, a convicted pedophile, and an advocate of educating children in the ways of homosexuality...and you're both worried about them getting a zero in sex-ed.

My SUGGESTION was a total boycott...do you have any idea how man children are enrolled in government schools in this country? Do you really think they have the manpower or the clout to arrest every parent?

A protest is just that, a protest...following the established rules is "consent".

But, I'm wasting my time because you two just don't get it, so have a nice life and when "Marty" wants to change his name to "Mary", remember, you wanted "status quo"

Remember the title of this thread was, "Obama czar's 'homo-genda' proposed for U.S. schools". You obviously don't want your children exposed to it, as you homeschool...but it's ok for the rest of America to expose their children for fear of the cops?

You have totally misunderstood my post. I am all for you pulling your kids out in protest. I was just saying that when you do that, you should file homeschool paperwork so you will not receive truancy charges. After the school board has conceded to the will of the parents, you can reenroll them if you like. The other poster had a point, there may not be many parents willing to go along. If that is the case having your kids out of school illegally will result in truancy which had resulted in children being removed from the home.

” I’d simply give him/her my blessing to get up and walk out of the homo lesson. If questioned, the answer is “I’m capable of making up my own mind with regard to what is normal and acceptable behavior.””

There is a lot of wisdom in that but it requires your child have the disposition to do so. I would not only give my child the blessing to to it I would convey that I would be disappointed if they did not!

And the thing I would tell them to say is “I can disagree with a life style choice and not bully the people who make it, so Ill be in the library studying. If you have a problem call my parents..”

Come on people. We have the might and the numbers why don’t we have the will to turn back the tide on this crap?

Numbers are worth nothing without leadership to direct them.

But we expect nothing from our leaders, and nothing is precisely what we get from them...

Just part of the Gramsci plan to take over our culture in order to rule us:

“These efforts draw upon a blueprint composed by Italian
Communist theoretician Antonio Gramsci (photo), who understood
that the creation of the total state requires the seizure of the
“mediating institutions” that insulate the individual from the
power of the government — the family, organized religion, and
so forth — and a systematic redefinition of the culture in
order to sustain the new political order. The battle cry of
Gramsci’s disciples is: “Capture the culture!”

Actually, the threat of homeschooling is more effective. If you simply pull your child out for a few days, they lose a little money and get it back when they come back, and then they’ll continue on their merry way, trying again at a later date.

Homeschooling cuts the funds completely.

And christianhomeschoolmommaof3 is right. Pull your kids out without a valid reason, and you’re risking a visit from CPS or whatever they call it where you live, and the school district is as likely to do it as not.

And the thinking that if enough people participate, they couldn’t call on everyone doesn’t hole much water. First of all, you’d have to know that you could get enough parents to commit to it to be effective, and I doubt that that is going to happen. The other thing is, there are too many other ways that the school district could get back besides that.

My daughter is in college, but if I had a kid in high school, I’d simply give him/her my blessing to get up and walk out of the homo lesson. If questioned, the answer is “I’m capable of making up my own mind with regard to what is normal and acceptable behavior.”

The problem is that they are teaching it in the lower grades. Books like Heather Has Two Mommies,How Would You Feel if Your Dad Was Gay, King & King, One Dad, Two Dads, Brown Dad, Blue Dads etc. And the movie, It's Ok to Be Gay....They are teaching our children this cr@p in the lower grades. When Sassy was in school I had a long talk with her teacher & told her my child would go out of the room if she was being taught anything with gay in it. All movies had to have a signed permission slip etc. Now I home school. I love it & so does Sassy.

I save the word gay for it’s original intent, describing a happy feeling. Whenever I refer to someone with a same sex perversion I call them what they are homosexual or lesbian. Calling them “gay” is a deliberate attempt to get people’s mind off of what they do.

Really good points...I had no idea they started all that crap so early. No wonder so many parents are turning to the home school solution. Good for you.

It is very sad that don't children have much of a childhood anymore. I see 5 yr olds dressed up looking like little mini me's with streaked hair to match their mothers. The issue of brand name clothes is in kindergarten.....I see so many kids playing video games. And not as many children playing outside in the snow as there should be. I often wonder where imagination has gone...When I was a child you played outside in all kinds of weather & could make countless things out of a big box.

Besides the gay issues in school, I also forbid Al Gore & his movie to be shown. I was a class mother & I got to see 1st hand how my daughter's school worked. There was no real plan for a terror attack. They made a big stink over parents having background checks & thankfully I am bonded. After quite a bit of help from the FReeper home schoolers I made the leap & never looked back. We do use a online school for days when i am busy but we enjoy learning together & no school is going to tell my child that being gay is ok.
