(Smart) Alec Baldwin Rushed to hospital, blames ex-wife, Kim, for making it a "media circus"

Emmy-winning actor Alec Baldwin's defenders blamed his ex, Kim Basinger, for ramping up the drama after an early morning 911 call by his daughter resulted in the "30 Rock" star being rushed to a Manhattan hospital.

"This is another example of Kim's sickness," a buddy of Baldwin's told The Daily News. "Alec came back from the hospital and there were cameras outside his house at 2 a.m. Gee, I wonder how they found out?"

Basinger, the buddy said, is jealous that Baldwin is co-hosting the Academy Awards next month and is using their daughter, Ireland, to rain on his parade.

"She's not not going to let that go by," the pal said.

There was no immediate response from Basinger's side, but her divorce from Baldwin has been a Hollywood horror show from the start and left their daughter torn between two parents who appear to hate each other.

Baldwin was transported by a Lenox Hill Hospital ambulance crew to the hospital at 12:55 a.m. after 14-year-old Ireland told a dispatcher he was "unresponsive," sources said.

I used to work for Kim’s dad many years ago when he owned some finance co. (don’t know if he is still alive), but he and Kim are both weird. I did like her sister Barbra. She seemed normal.

Well I don’t know about all this, but, a wife, an ex, or even a roommate can really screw you over in ways a stranger never could. I mean this in terms employment sabotage, social sabotage, and even trouble with the police. I have seen all of these.
I’ve seen wives kick their man out the house, knowing that he had been drinking, and then call and report him for DUI. Of course this costs the whole family thousands, but women don’t seem to care when they get mad. They’ll do anything.

And yes, I have seen people call paramedics on a sleeping person for revenge.

This is especially effective in the military because as soon as those lights roll, it is a Serious Incident, and will be tracked at all levels.

I’m not taking one side or the other. I’m only saying that I have seen what Alec is saying done by people just because they want to screw someone over. Its actually pretty common.

I hope the hospital took the opportunity to surgically remove whatever has been up his rectum for the past several years.

It’s Alec Baldwin. It’s not like Kim would even HAVE to call the media. Someone from the paramedics or hospital probably spilled the beans.

My take on all this is that Baldwin still loves Kim Basinger and has never gotten over her. But she won’t have anything to do with him and he’s an angry, hateful, SOB. Not that he wasn’t an angry, hateful, SOB even before they were married. But he was scorned by a woman!!!

Further to this, Drudge report mentions a sort of pushing episode with a photographer. Baldwin had returned to his apartment and apparently still went to work earlier. It was a good sign in away. It was about 530 pm, I believe. The "pressman" did indeed touch Baldwin first. Baldwin was going to react and got a push back. Wise heads got the poor man into the apartment building. Baldwin had seemed distraught over the press previously.

If only some kind soul would point out to Baldwin the relationship between his former president, George W. Bush and the press. One could say to him, that if you consider how they treated the former president and lied and joked about him, who the heck gets any respect at all? (Just sayin').

I feel really sorry for his daughter having to be manipulated by her father threatening sucide then acting unresponsive. What a Dbag that man is! Then to blame his ex for a call he himself probably made is the real “sick” part of all of this. I’d say more but don’t want anyone who’s been hurt by sucide to think I’m insensitive to the issue.

Very sad. It just shows that a Dad that treats his daughter the way Baldwin did in his voicemail rant will seriously mess the girl up. Same goes for the Mom using the little girl as a tool against her daddy. Prayers up for Ireland. May God call her and give her understanding and peace.
