Not to brag, just FYI, my brother got two tickets to the 2010 Great American Race via work. So looks like I am going, GOD willing.
We went to the Nationwide Series race at Daytona last year as well, again not brag or anything. :>)
So at least one/another FR-Peer will be there.

Good Morning All. I promise to mind my manners and not get into any He Said She Said disputes for the next two days.

A little reflection on a section of the Military that only gets attention if you live near a large body of water, like the Pacific Ocean or something. Our local Coast Guard puts their lives on the line almost every day and you rarely hear of them and their heroics so here is one recent off shore rescue... Coast Guard Air rescue

And a Followup Story They interviewed the pilot on the local TV last night and he said it was 40 mph winds and very turbulent seas...

Well Carp Tork! There’s no racin yet and we gotta get ready for work. Work computer is a old G4 maxed out on 768 kb of RAM on a slow ATT wireless system plus no TV = a harsh work environment...

Fell asleep during the opening ceremonies and woke up at about 4:45 this AM.

Any chores that can’t be worked around this weekend’s Daytona schedule will be on hold until Monday at the Roccus Ranchero.
