Palin Channels Feinstein is this any different? (Lefts hypocrisy)

When Sarah Palin wrote a cheat sheet for an interview on her hand last weekend, liberal commentators predictably bashed her — although the ex-Republican veep candidate did nothing that California’s top Democrat hadn’t done before.

From Arianna Huffington to Andrea Mitchell, lefty pundits pounced on Palin, after photos showed that she’d scribbled brief talking points on her palm — “energy, cuts, tax, lift American spirits” — before sitting for questions during last weekend’s big, conservative Tea Party convention.Veteran California political scribes recalled, however, that now-senior Senator Dianne Feinstein pulled the same stunt during a crucial debate when she unsuccessfully ran for governor against Pete Wilson. Back in October 1990, Feinstein and Wilson had their one-and-only debate of the campaign; nervous before the statewide televised event, DiFi scrawled three words — “growth, education, choice” on her palm in blue marker, to remind her of the policy themes she wanted to sound. Her action technically violated a ground rule, on which the campaigns had agreed, against bringing notes to the podium. When reporters challenged her about it after the debate, Feinstein hid her hand behind her back, said, “I’m not going to show you,” and walked away.

The only reason to be making a fuss about someone’s having a few notes for a presentation (whether on her hand or on a card) is to take the heat of TOTUS, who can’t speak his own name without his screens.

Man, this is some petty stuff--we're going back twenty years for a "Gotcha!"?

Just as I start to warm up to Palin, her "fans" remind me that they're her biggest problem in terms of being taken seriously by more than a core group.

THANK YOU to the blogger or think-tank researcher who has stayed up for days reviewing tapes of Democrats at the podium. Such a dirty job Mike Rowe ought to take a stab at it. Hopefully it will pay more dividends.

Petty stuff?
You mean like how the White House Press Secretary on tax payer dime no less, used his tax payer funded time to devote 5 minutes to mocking Sarah Palin over what, 5 words in her palm, even while 0bozo has to have every single word that he utters at official functions typed for him on a teleprompter?
Bringing up Diane Feinstein’s cheating is very valid., given that Feisnstein had agreed NOT to bring any notes to the debate, then proceeded to break her word and cheat.

Just as I start to warm up to Palin, her “fans” remind me that they're her biggest problem in terms of being taken seriously by more than a core group.”

Save us your “warming up to”. I need “warming up to” from the anti-Palin fanatics, like a hole in the head.

The issue I have with the right is that they never seem to take a strong stand...they just role over. Some off you just proved it by your replies. If the palm issue this passed week was about a liberal...they would have had ALL stories crushed by now. They fight back HARD. Reid, Pelosi and even Obama would be stopped in their tracks when their talk did not match there walk....if they were conservatives.
It is time the weak kneed right start to stick together. Pelosi’s aide came right out and said there was a plan to pass the healthcare bill without the GOP yet the GOP is still walking into Obamas trap stage meeting without this armor on. It should be a BIG story right now...but no, we let it die. The left has labeled the right as the party of NO and that they never introduced anything..we have let that stick instead of standing up to the fact that the truth is the exact opposite. WAKE UP ...

... to take the heat of TOTUS, who can’t speak his own name without his screens.

To be fair, TOTUS has to keep track of which name he's using, from a long list of aliases: Comrade Chairman Senator Community-Organizer-in-Chief Barack Barry Hussein Soetoro Dunham Obama TOTUS POTUS TWAP. I don't think anyone alive can keep track of his various histories, except perhaps Bill Ayers, who wrote the various revisions of Obama's immaculate deception.

If pointing out liberal hypocrisy, whenever it occurs, is a “gotcha” in your estimation, then may I suggest to you an alternative forum.

As far your “warming up to Sarah Palin”, this is belied by your posting history, which is a virtually uninterrupted cacophony of scorn ranging from the cheap shot to the faint praise. Anyone who is interested, and has the patience to wade through your posts, can check your history and confirm it.

If you want to attack Sarah Palin, you should return to your previous modus operandi, which is to be frank and direct about it. Pretending to warm to her exposes you as disingenuous.

Sometimes necessary though. A big lib acquaintance posted on her FB account that she refuses to take seriously a politician who has to read their “point of view” from their hand. Really? her point of view? So did Feinstein have her Point of View written down on her hand to remember?

You should tell her about the time Churchill, early in his political career, got so muddled he sat down in silent humiliation before the speech was finished. He had tried to go without notes. Never again thereafter did he not have at least some minimal script to which he could refer, although as he became legendary through much experience he became much less dependent on those notes. Palin is in fine company on that account.

Yes, it must be difficult remembering whom he is claiming to be at any particular time.

If pointing out liberal hypocrisy, whenever it occurs, is a “gotcha” in your estimation, then may I suggest to you an alternative forum.

You're free to suggest it. I'm free to ignore your suggestion.

As far your “warming up to Sarah Palin”, this is belied by your posting history, which is a virtually uninterrupted cacophony of scorn ranging from the cheap shot to the faint praise. Anyone who is interested, and has the patience to wade through your posts, can check your history and confirm it.

And they will see what a liar you are. This "virtually uninterrupted cacophony of scorn" includes the recent comment that if I had to vote today, I'd vote for Palin. But you know that 99.99% of people don't have the time on their hands you do, and will take you at your word. So you are not just a liar, you're also a coward, who smears someone knowing that most people won't check his BS.

If you want to attack Sarah Palin, you should return to your previous modus operandi, which is to be frank and direct about it. Pretending to warm to her exposes you as disingenuous.

You are the height of disingenuousness. I don't attack Palin--not even in this thread, where I am attacking her fans. Your inability to separate your ego from a famous person's is the usual inability for a weak person to separate himself from the person he idolizes.

I don't idolize human beings. When I don't like 'em, I say so. When I don't like things they do, I say so. I am honest about my Palin position, but folks like you can't handle that kind of honesty yourselves, so you simply refuse to see that others don't have your hangups, so you resort to the usual cheapjack tactics as you have.

Have I criticized Palin? Here and there, nothing worse than that I don't think she's right for the presidency. But that's the equivalent of "attack" people from some of the babies who are so weak they can't stand that someone, somewhere doesn't worship as they do.

If I didn't like Palin, I'd say so. I like her. Recently I asked a question about one of her positions, and for every half-dozen robots, I got a solid answer which made me see the correctness--the conservativeness--of Palin's position. That issue has been resolved, in my mind, to Palin's advantage.

But that kind of thinking, of questioning those who would be our leaders, is now considered "hate" around here.

Fine. But when liars like you try to smear me, just be warned, I don't take your childish, weakling crap silently.

Poor darling. It took you a whole week to write that post. Get a life. Everything I posted ia absolutely true. You have bashed Palin on this forum and anyone who cares to look can see it. It is not a big secret.

“But when liars like you try to smear me, just be warned, I don’t take your childish, weakling crap silently.”

Gee. I am all broken up about your scorn. I am glad you wasted your time bashing me instead of Palin. And every time I see you bashing her, I am going to call you on it.

"Poor darling. It took you a whole week to write that post. Get a life."

LOL! I HAVE a life, that's why I don't have the time you have to LIE about people online--unlike you.

What's most interesting about you scared little people who have to identify with famous folks because your lives are so sad and empty is that you take the slightest criticism of those you worship personally. You have never gotten 1/1000th the attention Palin gets. Obviously she can handle it, while you call people who simply examine her record haters.

And then you have the time to look through all of my posts so you have the goods on me--except you don't. You could have posted all the vile, awful things I've said about her, but the best you could come up with is my asking questions (and then when I get the answers and I respond that Palin is right--well, you seem to lie...uh, not see those).

You're exactly the kind of robot the media love. So hurry up and write your next laughable post to me, and hurry back to that never-off television set of yours!

OK, have to go back to work--you should try it sometime!

Can't wait for your next lie-packed, laugh-riot post! :)
