I think the supreme court ruled that citys cannot override state laws on guns...No, the state must pass preemption that says cities may not have laws that differ from those at the state level.
Imagine carrying a firearm and as you drive from town-to-town and the laws change. You might have to go from concealed carry to open carry to unloaded and locked non-carry.....the patchwork of laws would be impossible to comply wth....hence the need for preemption laws.

Gun bans are unconstitutional and all juries should NEVER find anyone guilty for their Constitutional RIGHT to keep and bear arms.
The jury are the people in control no matter what the judge directs them to do as they are the people in charge when the decision is given to them.
