Amazing that this was run by The Boston Globe.

Good riddance to Patrick Kennedy and all of his drunken inbred ilk.

What a legacy, Patrick. And we wonder why the DC outhouse hole stinks so bad.

I think he’s quietly gearing himself up to run for governor of some state...probably not R-I. Look at the timing here. He can wait until April and then announce himself. He needs to recreate himself....because he’s basically stalled out with the current job.

Only with that last name could this asshat get elected ANYTHING, let alone to the US House. Disgusting.

Honestly, I’d vote for a Castro before a Kennedy.

No way is he planning a comeback in some other office. He is finito. He read the polls and realized running again would be a waste, I’m guessing Teddy’s support and protection was the only reason the RI electorate thought he could bring home the bacon. Without Dad’s help he’s just an embarrassment and no more.

He can go to work for cousin Joe4Oil.

It didn't mention the minor car crash he had a month before the Wash DC incident. Here is what he submitted to police in his own handwriting (this was in RI)

It looks like he was drunk when he wrote that.

Patrick Kennedy was the quintessential Democrat politician - - just give your base of parasites lots of “free stuff”, confiscated from their neighbors, and trivial considerations like honesty, integrity, and good character go right out the window.

Did they ever take his mug shot? I don’t recall seeing one.

Not a chance. He never wanted to be a politician. He was only trying to follow orders from the family cartel. He bailed out as soon as Dad wasn't around to keep the pressure on.

Yeah, they forgot the CVS incident. Plus what about when he ran that boat aground on Block Island?

As I recall he chartered the sailboat, trashed it, and ran it aground on Block. I was sailing in those waters that summer and heard about it from a sailor friend who lives in Newport, RI.
