"Commentary" magazine, published by the American Jewish Committee, is the nation's best expositor of conservative Jewish political thought. From editor John Podhoretz to its many journalists like Jennifer Rubin, none can better explain why Jews have a visceral hatred of Sarah Palin. It goes FAR BEYOND the obvious fact that Jews have traditionally voted Democratic and been liberals. Rubin explores the non-PC dynamics of the real question: "WHY?" It would be unfair and impossible to attempt to summarize this remarkable article in a few sentences. Suffice it it say, it's a "must read" for anyone who wants to understand a crucial dimension of American political life.

They hate her cuz she’s a conservative shiksa.
Why are you reposting this? This was already posted.
I guess jewish voters vote for Democrats because they have such fond memories of Germany’s National Democratic Party.
One of the great mysteries of American politics
If you knew what that meant you wouldnt call Palin that.
You know, as a Jew who has actually sat across the table from the woman and talked politics, I find these kinds of articles just infuriating. I found Sarah Palin to be extraordinarily intelligent, engaging, and well-versed in the issues she was dealing with at the time (when she was a council member in Wasilla).
My guess is that African-American conservatives get this same feeling every time the article screams, “Why do blacks...”
Yes, yes, I know Jews vote overwhelmingly Democrat. It’s not something I’m particularly proud of.
Just keep in mind the old Yiddish saying, “Two Jews, three opinions.”
For these purposes, the definition of being Jewish is Naomi Wolf?
One of these things is not like the others,
One of these things just doesn’t belong...
Who cares if they don't like Sarah, they overwhelmingly voted for Obama. McCain could have chosen Moses and the result would have been the same. Now they are paying. This isn't about "not" liking Palin, it is about "supporting" Obama.
I didn’t call her that, I’m saying that’s what they call her. And I do know what a shikse is or I wouldn’t have said it.
I completely agree with you.
They hate her cuz shes a conservative shiksa.
It's because the title of her autobiography is Going Rogue. Jewish Women would have preferred Going Rouge. Or, maybe it's because the first three letters spell "Goi."
Just keep in mind the old Yiddish saying, Two Jews, three opinions.
LOL
Michael Savage even tossed in a dig a few days ago, inferring that intelligence ceases to exist beyond the last bus stop.
Total independence seems to frighten many urban types, and cause them to strike out at the thought of it.
It's an old dichotomy, reognized a long time ago.
"When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe".
Thomas Jefferson
Sarah tells mainstream Americans that we do not need the elites to tell us what to think and how to live. This threatens the livelihoods of those who intend to be part of that well-compensated governing elite.
Jews —and everyone else— love Gov. Palin.
This appears to be antiSemitism from Team Romney to
divert from their ATTACKS ON GOV.PALIN going
back before Election2008.
The problem is that two of those opinions are leftist for sure and the third one often is.
I love Sarah Palin, but a person would have to be pretty far out of touch to think that everyone loves her.
Why isn’t this generalization about “Jews” considered antisemetic?
It’s about liberals and they happen to be Jews.
