Might be they just happened to be there but two victims, Maria Ragland Davis and Adriel Johnson, were black. The third was the chair of the Department-- Gopi K. Podila of Indian heritage I assume. Of 5 non-whites in the 15 member department, 4 were shot. Two whites also.

If you type “amy bishop” in google search, the first entry is to a San Francisco Chronicle blog by some black guy who was trying to justify the murders right after it happened. This would likely be before he knew the victims’ ethnicity. He was basically justifying the shooting because the victims were Southerners and Bishop was a Harvard graduate.

The University of Alabama at Huntsville professor accused of fatally shooting three colleagues Friday during a meeting killed her brother in 1986.

Amy Bishop, now 42, shot her teenage sibling at their home in the Boston suburb of Braintree, town police said. She fired at least three shots; two shots struck her bedroom wall and one shot struck her brother in the chest, police said.

Bishop’s brother, Seth, 18, was an accomplished violinist. His death was ruled an accident, but additional information about the shooting is unavailable because files related to it have disappeared, police said.

Delahunt ordered the girl released while the police were in the process of booking her. He didn’t have any evidence of anything. They had just caught and disarmed her, but obviously Mom had been on the phone with Delahunt as soon as the girl ran out the door after shooting her brother.

The family is very wealthy.

Delahunt almost lost reelection a few years after that because he was involved in releasing from jail a murderer who then went on and murdered another person.

The state police report is here

She shot her brother on Dec 6th. The report said she was too emotional to be interviewed so they sent her home to her parents.

She and they were not interviewed again until Dec 17th!

For what it’s worth, her profile is still up at UAH’s website. Here it is:

“She said, ‘I am arrogant, I am aloof and I am superior in my attitude. But it doesn’t mean I don’t want to get along with people.’ ”

See, if you're a liberal, it's not what you actually do, it's what you mean to do...right?

"I mean she's not just some random schmuck"

Ok, maybe not random.

The UAH professor accused of killing three colleagues Friday once called herself aloof, arrogant and superior, and a colleague did not disagree.

And these same people tell us Tea Party attendees are dangerous? Does this description remind us of someone else? ;-)

MEDIA BIAS ALERT:

Another example of lib media's contempt for any part of the country not NEW YORK OR WASHINGTON is the NY Times headline

"A Previous Shooting Death at the Hand of Alabama Suspect".

In the body of the story, they never even mention she was born and raised in BOSTON or that she was educated at HARVARD. Only that this was a typical white Southern dumbass ALABAMA shooting spree.

If Delahunt was the ADA handling this case, there is no need for evidence”. No one is talking about bringing him to trial. It’s about politics and politicians have been sunk for far less then something like this.

In fact given the mood of the country today as far as it’s anti incumbent and anti Democrat flavor, it is quite easy to see how damaging this would be to Delahunt.

She obviously would have gotten tenure if she were NOT WHITE?

There was a tenure quota! That is probably exactly what happened. More affirmative action discrimination. And that angle of the story will never see the light of day...welcome to the third world.

Grapevine?

It’s all over the media and FR.

Congressman Delahunt of MA was the District Attorney who ordered the killer released and the case dropped.

The paperwork on the crime has been ‘disappeared’.

Congressman Delahunt is in Israel and unavailable for comment.

Seems to me that jealousy by her so called peers had a lot to do with her denial of tenure.

This is just an aside.

Death penalty would be appropriate punishment for her.
