I'd say the existence of John Edwards debunks intelligent design.

It’s one thing to gripe and complain about these things and disagree with it, but it’s quite another to convince your friends and neighbors and relatives and coworkers...

THEREFORE..., it’s also absolutely necessary for people to know the information in the following documentary. If there were simply one video that you could see and/or show people you know... this would be the one...

I'm sick of the argument that says that warmer air carries more moisture, thus more snow. We have warm moist air all summer in the south, but no snow. In order to have snow, you need much more than moisture. You need to have COLD air. I don't think that is consistant with Global Warming.

How much snow did DC get back in 1998, the warmest year on record here in the US?

Plus, it isn't detectable, measurable, disprovable, or verifiable. Those 4 things should be part of anything which calls itself "science".

I'd be willing to give the first part of the piece a solid B+, but the conclusions should get an F minus. All the global warming hysteria is worthwhile because it leads lawmakers to seek less dependence on foreign oil and more green jobs? A "green job" is completely meaningless if it's based on the idea that carbon dioxide is pollution.

20 years ago, pollution was actual pollution. Things you didn't want in the air because it would negatively affect human, animal and plant life. For instance, sulfur dioxide or carbon monoxide. In the interest of being green, we figured out how to burn coal with less sulfur, and how to burn gasoline with less carbon monoxide.

But if carbon dioxide is pollution, then burning the oil in the first place is the problem. It's like a health care plan where you shoot everyone in the head so they don't develop high blood pressure.

It's especially galling, because the same people will insist that global warming causes deforestation of the rain forest. How is warmer temperature plus more carbon dioxide plus higher precipitation a formula for deforestation? If you were trying to grow a forest, you couldn't ask for better conditions.

So much data the global warming hoax has been based upon has been shown to be compromised, that what's really alarming is that anyone still defends the conclusions based upon that compromised data. Any rational government or media would pull back from it all and demand that all raw data and adjustments and assumptions used in computer models be made available for real peer review and public scrutiny.

Sure can't take anything seriously this Milbank character has to say.
