You might want to consider the idea of Bayh hiding out until summer of 2012...and being the VP choice for Obama. Face it...the only way to get independent voters back to the Obama team....is via a new face like Bayh.
Consider the implication of Bayh with a huge campaign chest and being able to hold it up to 2016...where he wraps up the VP job and runs as president.
And what does he do from January of 2011 to summer of 2012? He writes a book on moderate Democratic ideals...and gets a job with CNN as an analyst. So when you see him hired...just start smiling...because you know the rest of the story.
