Progressives Are Targeting Your Kids ( Must see video )
barackobama.com via GB ^ | February 13, 2010 | Glenn Beck

Posted on 02/16/2010 4:30:26 AM PST by Halfmanhalfamazing

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIPS)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It's extra important to advocate for your beliefs and your family will still love you even if they don't always agree with what you say.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

My family is a traditional Korean family and we're first generation.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Well, my family's not very political at all. It was always up to me and my brother explaining what was going on to my parents.

(END VIDEO CLIPS)

That should frighten every parent in America.

Why in this video from BarackObama.com, do the children have to explain things to the adults? Well, because parents just don't get it. It's not enough for the kids to disagree on something and discuss it — oh no. Mom and dad are stupid. They believe in that crazy Constitution and stuff. They're so old school. But you — in all your 10th grade wisdom — you get it. And the president says you must educate your dopey parents:

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIPS)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Lots of my friends' parents probably aren't going to vote because they are all really busy. So my friends and I all work really hard to get them to vote and register.

So when my cousins and I have to talk to them about why we as the future generations really need Obama as the president.

We start out easily and just start saying, oh, watch the debate. And then we'll say, well, we really think that what Obama or Biden said about energy is really important because we need to start fixing that now before it will be too late.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It's more of like sitting down and having this, it almost feels like a parent-child conversation, except I'm the parent and they are the child.

(END VIDEO CLIPS)

It's a parent-child relationship, except the parent is the child and the child is the parent. This is incredible.

The message the president sends to families should be one of healing, building the family up; one where the child honors the mother and father. Instead, we have the president of the United States encouraging children to have a sit-down with their stupid parents and teach them a thing or two about the world. And elect Barack Obama.

Is it just me? Am I the only one that thinks turning our kids against their parents to get elected is evil?

Oh, I can hear the liberal bloggers now: Oh, Glenn. This site has his name, but the president is busy. Robert Gibbs said he has nothing to do with it.

Uh-huh. Roll tape:

This converstion only happens in liberal families with bumper-sticker depth on the issues.

It might be unwise to write all of this off.

Don’t forget, progressives own the schools. That makes most governmentally educated kids a target.

And then there’s PBS and other public broadcasting, where all of these deep pocketted left wing foundations are raising your kids.

I thought you had to “register”, then “vote”...

Ohhhhh, pishawwww, details details...We should not bother them with details...

Is it just me, or is this the most idiotic thing to put on your website, when you are the President???

Does anyone running this show think before they put this out for public consumption...

Or maybe this is brilliant, maybe they truely believe they will impact and influence, re-invigorate the base that voted them into office only a year ago...

Kinda pathetic to have to do this in the first year after you get into office...

Heck, what do I know...;-)

I don’t think conservatives are sleeping. Many may be caught up in the media’s usual day by day garbage though.

But I don’t think Obama can win the military. The troops know who their enemies are, that’s the business they are in. And Obama AFAIK is very unpopular in the military.

It’s no wonder that Obama wants to build up americorps. In Obama’s own words, he wants a civilian force as well funded as the military.

You're on the mark. I'm waiting for him to lift his chin a little, look to the left and say: "Tomorrow, early in the morning, the sun will be rising on the Eastern horizon." This man states the obvious (from his teleprompter) and people swoon. I have not heard ANYTHING from him that is "original thought." I guess this appeals to the dumb masses, but it sure loses people like you and me.

Allen Ginsberg told Norman Podhoretz in 1958, “We’ll get you through your children!” Radical Jerry Rubin said, “We are stealing the youth of America right out of the kindergartens and elementary schools.” The progressives know where the future lies.

Glenn Beck amazes me. Does he use teleprompters? To give those great presentations so smoothly and so thoroughly, on a daily basis, it amazes me.

It won’t be long before kids are reporting their parents to the authorities.

Yep, stating the obvious seems to appeal to those that cannot see beyond the next episode of American Idol (pardon the pun) or Survivor...

I of course have been known to clear a room at a single pull of my finger...But with that obvious capability I tend to govern my passions and bowels with a little more control and unique-ness in that I respect the civility and intelligence of those around me, so I do not bring gas to the table...

The stink of Obama and his minions are really starting to interfere with the sensibilities of those who were too intellectually lazy to get up off their azzes and engage in the process before the last election...But all of that is water under the bridge...

We need to ensure a goos turnout in November to correct this problem and neuter the administration and the congress and begin the process of righting the economic ship and keep us from capsizing...

Otherwise, this experiment called these United States of America had a fairly good run...

The people who voted for Obama and his ilk, and the intellectually lazy folks will certainly be welcome to catch up after the fact...
