CNN poll: 52% say Obama doesn't deserve reelection in 2012

52 percent of Americans said President Barack Obama doesn't deserve reelection in 2012, according to a new poll.
44 percent of all Americans said they would vote to reelect the president in two and a half years, less than the slight majority who said they would prefer to elect someone else.
Obama faces a 44-52 deficit among both all Americans and registered voters, according to a CNN/Opinion Research poll released Tuesday. Four percent had no opinion.
The reelection numbers are slightly more sour than Obama's approval ratings, which are basically tied. 49 percent of people told CNN that they approve of the way Obama is handling his job, while 50 percent disapprove.
Still, the 2012 election is still a long way's away, with this fall's midterm elections looming large. Republicans are hoping to make inroads into Congress, while Democrats are hoping to hold onto gains won in the 2006 and 2008 cycles.
Respondents to CNN were split at 46 percent as to whether they preferred a generic Republican or Democratic candidate in this fall's elections.
At least one retiring lawmaker is confident Obama will sail to reelection, with Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) predicting Monday the president would win "overwhelmingly" in 2012.
The CNN poll, conducted Feb. 12-15, has a three percent margin of error.

Last fall or late summer there were blerbs about how many death threats he was receiving a day....Fifty+ Someone said recently that had been multiplied and the SS was having a great deal of trouble keeping up....Have you heard any details?
we have a small college here in town st augustine called flager college.
For the most part it is a more conservative school and is run by conservatives but the last two years since it expanded we have seen more of an influx of cars parked there with lefty loon stickers.
Now it is not more than most schools granted but aroundthis county it does get noticed due to this county being much more a republican county than most in this state.
Quite a few of these out of state kids walk around thinking that they are the be all of of society but maybe like you said when they leave school and try to get a job/pay their own bills etc they might wake up.
What many of us who live want is for them to pay taxes while they’re here.
They use our services, our roads, are in the town center and if you have ever been here the historical center is very nice. They get to vote here and tell us what we should accept , what we should fly, what we should be about etc and then they leave.
Thankfully they do not have that much of an impact on the voting and do get put down if they try to protest in this beautiful historical town.
We’re about 70% republican here in this county thankfully and have no Dems in any areas of Govt and thankfully the town and county do fight the homsoexuals on their agenda.
There was one case where the homosexuals wanted their rainbow flags fly on the bridge which is very historical.
We all said no and the county fought them in court.
We lost but then the county made a law stating how only Govt historical flags are allowed to fly now.
Guess what the homosexuals then tried to tell us ?
They said that the founders of this town St Augustine were homosexuals.
Anyway sorry for the rant but our fear is that the more this school increases the more it could impact our politics
This change in Obama’s favorability I would believe is mostly the indys who were swayed in the six weeks before the election by a combination of not paying enough attention to Obama’s past and the financial crisis. Now they’ve woken up. The true believers will never give in. Because they’re simply not smart enough to learn from their mistakes, or they’re just too pigheaded to admit them. Or both.
It's got to be worse. probably closer to 60%.

bring it right up to date with the bottomless idiocy of lecturing us that we need to ‘tighten our belts’ and not do any “reckless spending”, implying that reckless spending is precisely what WE elected him to do, with OUR money.
If he doesn’t produce one big, fat, solid outrage a day, it’s just not our Barack Obama. It’s absolutely amazing what
we are subjected to on a daily basis from these Pretenders who now control our lives.
He has no deep-down love of country, UNLESS and UNTIL America submits to his view of its place in the world, which is one where it takes its place, properly chastened, in the proper scheme of things, and gives up EVERYTHING that made and still makes it great.The project of careful and deliberative dismantling of our entire culture is well underway, and this is what Obama called just hours ago

The selling job that’s been underway for years before Obama ever came on this scene was ratcheded up for him specifically, the instant he DID appear, and hustled Hillary Clinton out of the way. They must’ve been thrilled to have someone so readymade in both attitude and fake history to fill the requirements for a “post-racial” President. Fact is, MOST of our Presidents HAVE been post-racial until he came along.
But to me, the most lamentable, mind-boggling aspect of this snow-job was HOW, just HOW, the enabling media, working with the Democrat Party, managed to sell this Zero as having ANY kind of “moral authority”, because he was a junior-grade Jesse Jackson-style troublemaker/shakedown artist in CHicago for a while. A community organizer, by golly! It is just plain embarrassing to think of how many dumbed-down Americans there were who were made to see that as if it were Mother Teresa ministering to the poor in Calcutta. Absolutely amazing, this “moral authority” conceit....deserves deeper psychological inquiry to plumb the depths of just how far gone our common sense and our collective BS detectors have gone awry.
I now have to go buy a new garden hose to go with my new Tile Saw, at the Home Depot.
I SAY HE DESERVES DE-ELECTION RIGHT NOW FOR CRIMINNAL FRAUD.
He is not qualified under article II of the constitution, which is why his Long Form Birth Certificate is sealed, and Obama has spent 2 million bucks on defending discovery proceedings to reveal it.
