CNN poll: 52% say Obama doesn't deserve reelection in 2012

52 percent of Americans said President Barack Obama doesn't deserve reelection in 2012, according to a new poll.
44 percent of all Americans said they would vote to reelect the president in two and a half years, less than the slight majority who said they would prefer to elect someone else.
Obama faces a 44-52 deficit among both all Americans and registered voters, according to a CNN/Opinion Research poll released Tuesday. Four percent had no opinion.
The reelection numbers are slightly more sour than Obama's approval ratings, which are basically tied. 49 percent of people told CNN that they approve of the way Obama is handling his job, while 50 percent disapprove.
Still, the 2012 election is still a long way's away, with this fall's midterm elections looming large. Republicans are hoping to make inroads into Congress, while Democrats are hoping to hold onto gains won in the 2006 and 2008 cycles.
Respondents to CNN were split at 46 percent as to whether they preferred a generic Republican or Democratic candidate in this fall's elections.
At least one retiring lawmaker is confident Obama will sail to reelection, with Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) predicting Monday the president would win "overwhelmingly" in 2012.
The CNN poll, conducted Feb. 12-15, has a three percent margin of error.
Yesiree, he's doing a great job of THAT, but nothing else.

Nothing to say!!! POTUS Obama is a total failure, an anti-American, socialist, lover and lap dog for Black racist Rev. Jeremiah Wright. See, some of us Americans, saw through this flim/flam man long ago and some did not. Now, maybe American voters will realize, yes, Virginia, elections have consquences!!! And....for you foolish Pubbies out there that think Obama has changed a bit by giving you some “nuclear power plants”, think again. He has worked you over once again. The sooner the American people recognize this POTUS wants to destroy the American economy, the better off the country will be.

Don’t celebrate too soon. In the past, a good economy has carried deficient Presidents like Clinton back to a second term.
I expect a strong recovery (which is good) which will get Zero relected (which is not good).

I was eating at my favorite Israeli Restaurant, and CNN was on the TV.
After seeing a spot about the Lyin’ King approving two new NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS, the story about his plummeting popularity came on, and a poll saying how only 38% of Americans think any incumbents should be reelected.
I almost had a Cataclysmic Attack of Schadenfreude. Right there in the Restaurant. :-)
Remember 1972. Muskie might have made it a close race, but Nixon cruised to an easy victory over McGovern. The Obama camp may make the Nixon re-election team look like a Sunday school picnic before it’s over...if they can help a “moderate” win the Republican nomination, or get a third-party candidate to divide the opposition vote, they can get back in with much less than 50% of the public approving of them.
Yes, God help from from the American people who did all of this.

You are spot on! The MSM (most anyway) simply abdicated their traditional role and became the servile supplicants of the biggest nonentity to ever run for the presidency. They groveled before this fraud and never properly vetted him. He is the least qualifed president in history with a resume thinner than Oliver Twist’s gruel. So he graduated from Harvard with a Juris Doctor degree. Well, so did Michelle. Big frigin’ deal. Sad to say but millions voted for him for no other reason than it would be “neat.” Lincoln said you can fool some of the people all of the time. Well, Obama knew he could always rely on those obsequious, fawning, genuflecting, guilt ridden white liberal lemmings. But he couldn’t fool all of us, could he? Alas, the emperor has no clothes.
