Duke lacrosse accuser arrested, charged with arson, assault

Durham police arrested Duke lacrosse accuser Crystal Gale Mangum, 33, late Wednesday after she allegedly assaulted her boyfriend and set some clothes on fire in the bathtub.

Authorities charged her with five counts of arson, simple assault, identity theft, communicating threats, damage to property, resisting, delaying and obstructing an officer and three counts of child endangerment.

Shortly after 11:30 p.m., police received a 911 call about a domestic dispute at 2220 Lincoln St. Authorities said they believe the call came from one of the three children inside the house.

When officers arrived, they found Mangum and her boyfriend, Milton Walker, 33, in the middle of a fight. Mangum then went into a bathroom and set some clothes on fire in the bathtub, police said.

Officers immediately called the fire department to put out the flames. No one was injured.

Milton was not charged in the incident, police said. The three children inside the house, ages 3, 9 and 10, were not injured.

Mangum is the author of the memoir "Last Dance for Grace." She was a student at North Carolina Central University in 2006 and also worked as an exotic dancer when she performed at the now infamous Duke lacrosse party.

It was there, she claimed, that three white members of the team trapped her inside a bathroom and raped and sexually assaulted her.

I’m glad that Sharpton and Jackson and the race baiters and the feminazis that marched and gave speeches and condemned these innocent Americans stepped forward and apologized for jumping to false conclusions. It took a lot of courage and character for all these people to admit they were wrong and I respect them for doing so.

Oh, they never did apologize for calling these guys rapists? The whole marches and sign thing for false accusations didn’t embarrass them into admitting their error?

Before the phony rape charges, she had been arrested for trying to run down a policeman. They reduced the charges, but never took away the children. She was known to do drugs, but they let her keep those kids for political reasons. She made up the phony rape story in the first place, when the policeman found her passed out in the car and she figured it would sound better than the truth that she was passed out.

Not too many people have heard the story about the gay Duke University administrator, Frank Lombard, who along with his gay partner was allowed to adopt children and then raped at least one of the children. He bragged to other gay men on the Internet and offered the 5 year old child for sex for other like-minded monsters.

I didn't see Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson defend this little black baby from the elitist gay white man who abused him.

Where was the outrage from the Duke University professors, who signed the petition condemning the innocent Duke Lacrosse players, against the child rapist in their midst.

This was last summer. I don't even know what happened to the children he adopted.
