ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Bristol Palin’s lawyer is seeking permission to subpoena media outlets such as Playgirl magazine and CNN to determine how much money Levi Johnston, the father of her child, has made to calculate an appropriate level of child support.
Attorney Thomas Van Flein filed a motion seeking permission to conduct out-of-state depositions and obtain financial records from the magazine, CNN, Entertainment Tonight, Vanity Fair, the National Enquirer, Star magazine and Insider.
It could take a judge weeks to decide on the request by Palin, the teenage daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate.

Levi appears to have money for a manager, promoter, and flies around the country acting like a celebrity.
Certainly, Bristol and child should share in those revenues.
Yes, she deserves support for their son. Levi is a skunk, but,he needs to man up now.
I agree she should clean his clock now and put that money aside for that baby, before all of his money is blown. Lord knows he has rough waters ahead of him and future money will not be easy to come by once his celebrity status wears off!
Here’s the deal I’d offer: In exchange for sole custody, no child support payments- and not telling the world how tiny your junk is. Of course, anyone who saw any of the Playgirl photos knows that already.
None of my business or concern. And not relevant, but Bristol Palin is a very attractive young lady.
Levi is about to get an upclose lesson in how much family law attorneys make “settling” family issues. I personally got a $50K lesson years back, I think my ex actually paid more. My current wife of 20 years and I have a 1 page prenup that says we will hire a single mediator to help us work out any issues we can’t work out ourselves, should we decide to part, and that we will use a coin flip to decide any individual issue/thing which we can’t come to agreement on.

True, but you can still get a good idea of how tiny his junk is. Ask any woman who’s seen the photos and most will laugh.

Uh-oh, Levi Johnston is getting a little blowback for his juvenility and allowing himself to be used by the media.
Sometimes unintended consequences can be beautiful.
Levi has a guaranteed living as a leftist celebrity worm so long as Palin is a political figure.

It is too much to hope that Levi will keep that little boy in mind. Like all children he will grow up wanting to think his dad is a good guy, somebody he could love, somebody he could look up to.
But it’s too much to hope for.
