A U.S. Army program at the center of a probe into allegations that Muslim translator trainees threatened to poison soldiers at Fort Jackson was moved to a post in Arizona last month.
Spokeswomen at both Fort Jackson and Fort Huachuca, Ariz, confirmed the program - which trains noncitizen native speakers in such languages as Arabic and Farsi to become soldiers and translators - has been relocated.
The Army refers to the program, begun in 2003, as 09 Lima.

The Fort Huachuca spokeswoman said she had no firsthand knowledge of the investigation. "But that sounds realistic to me," she said. "In every group of people, there are always a few malcontents. Some (malcontents???)adapt (to the Army) better than others.
"But I work with 09 Limas, and they are some of the most dedicated, patriotic soldiers I've ever met," she added. "Hopefully this is an isolated incident and the Army will get to the bottom of it."
Who are non citizens patriotic to? Where is their aligence? When are all these incidents, Ft Dix, Little Rock, Ft Hood, Ft Jackson, "friendly" Muslims turning on and killing Americans in the war zones not going to be "isolated" any more?
The Obama administration and the Army (military as a whole) are so eaten up with pro Muslim, PC crap that they will do nothing. The military lurches towards the cliff and the top brass, Secretary Gates included are doing nothing except pushing harder to get it there.
I still suspect these guys got out on bail and disappeared.
Why aren’t we training Jews from Arabic-speaking countries?
This has George Casey’s fingerprints all over it, and the whole thing stinks to high heaven. I’m of the opinion that the Army has been attempting to play “Hide the Weenie” with this whole thing in an attempt to avoid even more criticism than they already are getting over the Fort Hood Massacre.
What we need is for a few Congress Critters to do their job and get the Army Chief of Staff’s ass up on the Hill to start answering a few hundred questions, and find out what else he has been attempting to cover up and hide from the American people.
We have a big problem boys and girls. Our Army has been infiltrated by the enemy right before our eyes. The worst part is that guys like George Casey have done it to te US Army deliberately.

This lack of information and circular referral of questions to another office, another command, etc. looks like a cover up. Once again, the Administration appears to be running interference for Muslim infiltrators. Obama’s loyalties are not to the US.
Obama can’t afford to have Americans find out that these guys were bonded out of jail and have since disappeared.
Just my suspiscion.
The original account in the The State newspaper (Columbia, SC) blamed claims of a poison plot on soldiers who “shot their mouths off,” not the translators. In other words, this local law enforcement official was describing the GIs as “malcontents” and not members of the translation team.
As a retired military officer, I see at least two problems with this account. First, the alleged plot was discovered at Fort Jackson, among personnel assigned there. I’m guessing that local law enforcement’s involvment in the investigation was tertiary, at best. Army CID is running the show; I really wonder how “knowledgeable” that local official really is.
Secondly, many press accounts have failed to mention the suspected connection between the Fort Jackson 5 and those Muslims who flew from D.C. to Pakistan back in Dec, to join the jihad against U.S. troops. Apparently, the translators were picked up about the same time the would-be jihadists were arrested in Pakistan. That’s a big reason this investigation is still active.

Good questions that obviously the military is bothering to ask.
The reality: Illegal or legal entry alien muslims can sign up with the military and become instant citizens. Between Oct. 1, 2008 and Sept. 30, 2009, 10,505 immigrant soldiers became citizens - ONE YEAR.

And between Oct. 1, 2008 and Sept. 30, 2009, 10,505 immigrant soldiers became citizens, the report said.
