I've seen a show advertised on the History Channel called "America: Story of Us". Does anyone know the skinny on this? Is it a dressed up lefty history like that crap, The Peoples History, they tried to pass off a few months ago or is it an honest try at telling a great story as it seems to present itself?
With the History channel its hard to say. It could go either way.
It's about America, I hear. That's all I know......
Don’t know for sure but I suspect it’s dressed up lefty history crap.
Possibly will try to paint the founder fathers as Marxist socialists, worried about climate change and Bush.
Very very left wing. You can expect celebrities talking about all the leftist points in history.
>My guess is that it’s going to be about searching for space monsters who want to pawn the sharks that live in the river that runs through the logging camp while semis try to drive over the frozen pond.
The show concludes with them not finding the space monsters, and the loggers all get mad at each other because the new guy puts down the roll of guide wire too many times.<
LOL!
That’s exactly why I hate the History Channel now.
It is America After Humans Are Gone.
Count on the last half being another rant about global warming......
IIRC, this is a who sponsored by ancestry.com that shows a bunch of lefty hollywierdoes learning ofd their ancestral roots. Spike Lee and Sigourney Weaver are 2 names that I remember. I may be confusing this with something else....
This is a who = This is a show
Hmm...Strange error.
Answer: Nobody here knows
Corollary: Please ignore all of the attempted humor above.
watching this show now.
They have TOTALLY glossed over the first year of the pilgrims was a failure due to socialism.
This is nothing more than a Bank of America puff piece. (the commercials mesh in the identical style of show)
Seriously, a useless dunsel as Colin Powel? spinning for immigration reform?
They don’t even talk about oppressive taxation, they call it “controll of the money”.
The writers obviously want this to tie into the PC view fo the present.
Blooomberg? HA!
Sorkin? HA!
Jimmy Wales? HA! (talk about left wing spin)
this is a show off show for illiterati insiders.
Does mention the Tea Party but does not SAY “Tea Party”
TOM BROKAW? USELESS IDIOT!
The History Channel did not even say the words “TEA PARTY” TO DESCRIBE THE TEA PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
history channel IMPLYING the right to keep and bear arms is a collective right of the local towns.
Guns were provided COMMUNIALLY!!!!!!/????
(goebles would be proud)
