Exactly.

I’m tired of GOP whining about a 3rd party threat when they themselves are the reason the threat exists in the first place.

The GOP is undermining a grassroots conservative movement?

If true, the GOP (under the tutelege of Michael Steele) will be sealing it's fate and dividing conservatives and independents who have, for now, unified. To defeat democrats, the GOP would create lemmings? If this is Michael Steele's agenda, he MUST be removed from office and soon!

Now THIS is what the Tea Party is perfect for, flushing the Rinos and taking them out.

As we saw in Nevada, most of these “Tea Party” candidates are just stalking horses to split the vote and elect Democrats.

Any idiot can call his group a “Tea Party”.

A year ago we saw this coming in Oregon.
Someone wisely pointed out that since the GOP wasn't really using its party in Oregon, they wouldn't mind if we borrowed it.

Its easier to capture the GOP from the inside than to build a 3rd party particularly in Blue states.

Beware wolves in sheeps’ clothing!

ACORN and friends want to manipulate the Tea Party movement to split the conservative vote.

Ah reality.

That is the solution flush the Rino out of the party.
If JD Hayworth does it in Arizona, I will be happy that the plan will WORK.

the elitist part of the GOP have been planning to take over the tea parties since the tea party came on the scene.

The GOP doesn’t have the balls to mention abortion nor do they mention the homosexual agenda and they have this elitist attitude which is out of touch with the majority of folks in this country as does the rat party.

I would like to see the tea party hod both parties to task and not be lined with either party and if the GOP or the rats put another marxist/socialist person in the running then I hope the tea party challenges them.

I’d actually like to see a conservative party anyway that way those who are for abortion and the homosexual agenda can either stay with the the GOP or go to the liberterian party where they should be anyway.

All the homosexuals like GOProud are doing is infiltrating the GOP anyway

The time is ripe for conservatives, constitutionalists and conservative libertarians to co-opt the Republican Party, and push back against the progressives. It would be a shame to see this opportunity devolve into another third party spoiler that will entrench the leftists.

ACTUALLY, THERE IS NO MORE GOP. THRE ARE ONLY THE PROGRESSIVES. IF THE RNC WANTS TO SURVIVE, IT HAD BEST TURN BACK TO CONSERVATIVE PRINCILES AND THE CONSITUTION. BUT THEY WILL NOT DO THAT. SINCE THERE IS REALLY ONLY ONE PARTY, THE PROGRESSIVES, THE TEA PARTY WOULD USHER IN AGAIN THE TWO PARTY SYSTEM.

The soap box doesn’t work. They control all of the amplification devices. It’s time for the ballot box. It’s peaceful. It’s powerful.

WHO APPOINTS THE CHAIR OF THE RNC? HOW DOES THE PARTY SELECT THE PLANKS OF ITS PLATFORM? AND JUST HOW COULD THE TEA PARTY FILL THE SLOTS NECESSARY TO AFFECT REFORM IN THE PARTY?

Maybe the Republican Party of Illinois has caught on that the Tea Party is a libertarian/Ron Paul movement. Witness Ron Paul winning the CPAC presidential straw poll. The libertarians know what they are doing via founding and infilitrating the movement, duping true patriots.

However, it is clear in my mind that the following are NOT patriots: democrats, libertarians, Ron Paul followers and Ron Paul embracers.

Patriots believe in abiding by the U.S. Constitution and that means all of the Constitution, including the funding of a strong defense in both wartime and in peace. Ron Paul and his followers have been vocally opposed to this and, on top of it, Paul is a “truther.”

For patriotic Tea Partiers to say, as they have to me, that — even though they do not agree with his opposition to WOT — at least Paul advocates cutting spending, I say so do we all. However, what has Paul done as congressman to achieve cuts in spending? *Crickets*

Compromising with and embracing this libertarian movement that masquerades as Republican is the wrong path. Paul and the Tea Party will never be other than 3rd party, meaning an aid to getting democrats elected.

PATRIOTS need to re-think where they put their allegiance. CONSERVATIVES need to realize there is no such thing as “conservative libertarian.” Bottom line, we cannot call this a conservative movement without full support of our military and a strong defense.

How can you vote for a precinct if you don’t live in that precinct? That’s the essence of the existence of a county central committee. The chairman’s powers are then derived from that, they can’t possibly control a vote from a unoccupied precinct.
