This week, we're meeting in Jefferson City on Tuesday at 8 am for very important hearings on both State Sovereignty resolutions. Meeting collectively in Jeff City when necessary means everything to this movement!** Remember that faxing as many witness forms again is so important and very simple. When you go to our website HERE

, you will see the links to print out both forms--two for each individual represented. For more information on both of the resolutions, click HERE

and HERE

.

When you meet us on Tuesday, make sure to bring along two forms with your own name too. After printing them out,

1. Under "Witness Information", complete the "INDIVIDUAL" section. 2. In the "TESTIMONY" section for each form, explain WHY you support the Resolution in your own words. (Alternatively, you have the option to leave this section blank.) Following is SUGGESTED wording only...feel free to adapt it: "The federal government has overstepped the limits to its specifically enumerated powers in the U.S. Constitution. It should not have to be reminded that the federal government was created by the various sovereign states, and not conversely. This Resolution reaffirms the 10th amendment to the U.S. Constitution." 3. Collect as many of these Witness Forms from family and friends as you can.

**WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE? Why do I actually look forward to being in our state capital on days like Tuesday? Why do I give up so much personally to make sure I get there for priority hearings no matter what? Why do I not let myself even think about quitting? Because conservative movements have completely stalled Health Control. And Cap 'n Trade. And, because I have to look my kids in the eyes, and decide if I want them to see me a.) ignoring what's happening to America by escaping to the mall; or b.) taking deliberate action to protect their freedom. And finally, because I recently discovered the magnitude of one person's efforts in 1972 (thank you, Ruth Carlson):

"By the time Phyllis Schlafly began campaigning in 1972, the [Equal Rights] amendment had already been ratified by 30 of the necessary 38 states. However, Schlafly was successful in organizing a grassroots campaign to oppose further states' ratifications. Five more states ratified ERA after Schlafly launched her opposition campaign, though an additional five state legislatures voted to rescind their ratifications. The last state to ratify was Indiana, where then State Senator Wayne Townsend, a Democrat, cast the tie-breaking vote for ratification in January 1977. In opposing ERA, Schlafly argued that 'the ERA would lead to women being drafted by the military and to public unisex bathrooms.' Her views were opposed by Pro-ERA groups, led by the National Organization for Women (NOW) and the ERAmerica Coalition. The amendment was narrowly defeated, despite having achieved ratification in 35 states. (condensed, from Wiki)

HEALTH CARE CHECKUP: We were hoping the Health Care Freedom Act would move more quickly through the Senate than it is, and do not want to see it stalled like Health Control. We are putting the plans in place for a "Checkup" in Jefferson City on Wednesday, March 17. You will not want to miss the opportunity to let our legislators know how much we're paying attention!

RACE TO THE TOP: We are communicating with our legislators about this program and will have more information as soon as possible.

FAKE-O JACO: One of St. Louis' most precious bloggers, Adam Sharp, confronted Charles Jaco (Channel 2) at a recent liberal rally--about his favorite way to put down tea partiers. I have a feeling that if enough people wrote in and called, his job would be on the line, so watch the clip HERE

and decide if you should contact Channel 2 yourself. Adam's blog HERE

.

CANDIDATE SOUP: The annual Lincoln Days is coming up this weekend (click HERE

), and we hope to see you there! We will have our booth beside Show Me Patriots' booth. Take advantage of all the candidates and conservatives who will be there, so we can all stay involved for positive change!

THREE MINUTES: Instantaneous inspiration from a young person by clicking HERE

HOPE TO SEE YOU TUESDAY!

GOD BLESS AMERICA,
