Why? There are some extremely brilliant Conservatives in the Publc School system. And the “MATH” teacher is a hero. Hero and Liberal do not go together...that would be an OXYMORON.
Paige, actually IMO the teacher may be what I call a Real or True Liberal & a Hero. The confusion propagated by the commentaria of Liberal with Leftist is a problem. We need a discussion of the terms Liberal, Conservative, Traditionalist, Progressive, Collectivist, Statist, etc. Better thinking should define these tags. I prefer Christian American, Constitutionalist, Indiviualist, True Liberal, etc...Thanks for reading.
