Maybe we should wait and see what he votes on next?
He said he was going to vote with the Democrats some of the time. It’s no surprise, and he’s not a traitor. He ran on opposing the health care bill.
Maybe (and, I’m just spitballing here) we should know more about the bill he voted for before we excoriate him.

It is unrealistic to expect him to be Jim DeMint. He is from Massachusetts. What the hell did people expect him to do? When all is said and done, if he manages to cast the vote that stops socialized medicine, he will have lived up to his campaign rhetoric and get a pass from me on everything else. But he hasn’t even been in office a month yet. Everyone needs to cool their jets.
Now that’s just plain dumb. Everyone with an ounce of sense knew that he wasn’t a 100% pure dyed-in-the-wool conservative. But his win in M-ASS-achusetts was still a win worth celebrating. We gotta take our gains where we can and fight on.
