Al Gore's Nine Lies
NRO/Planet Gore ^ | February 24, 2010 | Greg Pollowitz/IBD

Climate Fraud: The godfather of climate hysteria is in hiding as another of his wild claims unravels — this one about global warming causing seas to swallow us up.

We've not seen or heard much of the former vice president, Oscar winner and Nobel Prize recipient recently as the case for disastrous man-made climate change collapses.

Perhaps he's off reading how scientists were forced to withdraw a study on a projected sea level rise due to global warming after finding two "technical" mistakes that undermined the findings.

The study, published in 2009 in Nature Geoscience, allegedly confirmed the conclusions of the 2007 report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) that sea levels would rise due to climate change. The IPCC put the rise at 59 centimeters by 2100. The Nature Geoscience study put it at up to 82 centimeters.

Many considered the study and the IPCC's estimates too conservative in their warnings. After all, Al Gore, in his award-winning opus, "An Inconvenient Truth," laughingly called a documentary, foretold an apocalyptic vision of the devastation caused by a 20-foot rise in sea levels due to melting polar ice caps "in the near future."

Nine lies - surely you jest! Mr. Gore has been the disciple of ignorant rantings... Not a problem though since he is just so sincere...heh. I do expect the Earth to collapse any time now though - or at least jump out of orbit. I blame all of this on Gore..

9 lies huh? Let’s see $100 million divided by 9 lies = about $1.1 million per lie! Not bad earnings I would say! This AH has made a fortune on his global warming rants, paid for by the ignorant!

Al won’t be starving anytime soon. Even if his proposed carbon trading empire which would of made him a billionaire completely collapses, he’s still got bigtime paying gigs like speaking tours and he’s on the BOD of Apple computer. Steve Jobs worships Al Gore and will continue to push to have him kept on their BOD which I’m sure pays an incredible yearly salary.

I think it's called ducking a subpoena.

And it isn't just Algore. I'm looking forward to annual shareholders meetings with ballots that call into question the corporate judgment of buying carbon credits, college students and their parents bringing suits for refunds of tuition, books, and lab fees for junk science courses, investors in “green” technology and corporations suing for fraud, etc. If there's any justice, a huge chunk of eco-legislation and departmental fiat will be scrubbed from the books.

Algore deserves to freeze in the dark, up where the polar bears frolic.

...he’s on the BOD of Apple computer.

I believe Gore is also on the board at Google -- and draws a substantial fee from them.

One wonders why otherwise intelligent people would have such admiration for a boob.

Well, according to another article posted here, he has connection to George Soros, UN bigshots, and other moneybags to the tune of 14 trillion dollars. That makes it valuable to have access to this stooge, even though he is too stupid in his own right to tie his own shoes.

It would be something like that, wouldn't it?

Gore is the epitome of the "useful idiot".

While we are on the subject, I was thinking.... OK, so we power the world with windmills and everyone is in a green job. Since no energy is truely free, meaning it comes from somewhere what we are doing is adding additional friction to the earths revolution. doing that, could we slow earth’s rotation, someday having 355 days of slightly longer lenth and throwing the Earth off its axis?
I will get back to you when the UN gives me a few million to study this.

Heh... Like it... Maybe they will change the world with their windmills. I sure hope that they don’t all rotate in the same direction - I smell calamity!

Mmmmmm........we gotta add that one to the Hollyweird Creed (the Hollywoodens do believe in something).

The Hollyweird Creed

1. Christians are evil.

2. Women are to be valued only for their cleavage.

3. Traditional gender roles are artificial but feminism and homosexuality are government-protected lifestyles.

4. Don’t hire an actress who won’t act naked. Male stars can refuse to take off their boxers.

5. The ACLU is good, because destroying religion and silencing believers are protected by the Constitution and the First Amendment; The NRA is bad because it defends the Constitution.

6. Standardized IQ tests are racist; racial quotas and affirmative action are not.

7. Conservatives are racists; everybody knows that Black people can't make it on their own without big-buck government assistance programs and Hollyweirdos to proselytize the message 24/7.

8. Abortion is a natural right. The Founders just forgot to put it in the Constitution.

9. Normal sex is perverted. Threesomes, bestiality, necrophilia, homosexuality are just new ways to get a thrill.

10. Moral indignation is a liberal's standard strategy for endowing our output with superiority.

11. Victimization is our basic belief by which we blame and find others responsible for our own personal failures, then expect taxpayers, deep-pocketed individuals, or the courts to bail us out. It feels good to be in the throes of "victimization" and either A) causing victims, B) concocting victims, C) playing victim, D) commiserating over victims, or E) creating another class of victims to bleed over.

12. It's a liberal's duty to treat Middle America in the manner of raising mushrooms, that is to say, keep them in the dark and feed them lots of horse manure.

13. Capitalism creates oppression; government creates opportunity.

14. The traditional family is archaic, constricting, with no redeeming value. Parents that try to guide their children's choices are restrictive. Kids need to be "free".

15. Self-esteem is paramount; government must undertake to guarantee each citizen-victim self-esteem no matter the cost.

16. Prepare for the devastation caused by a 20-foot rise in sea levels due to melting polar ice caps.
