This is a terrible thing to hear, isn’t it?

The answer, like you said, is a second opinion. And I can tell you under managed care that is a harder to get.

I have family members in HMOs and I am in a PPO. I cannot tell you how many times I thank God I don’t need referrals for everything. It’s time consuming and if it’s not approved, what do you do?

Does KO really think Canadacare would be better for his father? I mean, pain disorders are what I see people flocking down here for. They just wait way too long up there for an appointment, so they come down here and spend the money because they can’t bear it any more.
