"From our human perspective with our relatively short and incomplete memories and better and better communications around the world, we hear about more earthquakes and it seems like they are more frequent," Arrowsmith said. "But this is probably not any indication of a global change in earthquake rate of significance."

Funny, they don't apply this logic to 'global warming.'

First thing I thought when I read the title.

Nature has been nature from the beginning, we have evidence of its power from Ice Ages to Krakatoa, back to warming. Tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, snow, rain, unbearable cold, unbearable hot, man didn’t cause it and man can’t fix it.

Whose control? It’s sure not out of God’s control.

Too much oil being taken out of the earth thus leaving gigantic vaults of nothingness. Something has to fill them up and its probably the shifting sands resulting in the the shifting of major land masses.........

No brainer! Stop the drilling and pumping and we'll stop the quakes.........

“Out of control?” That’s the dumbest question I’ve heard this month! When was nature “in control?”

I read recently that there are three times when
earthquakes are most likely...

Moon rides high on celestial equator (begins the most likely 5 day period of earthquakes in the northern hemisphere).

Moon runs low on celestial equator (begins the most likely 5 day period of earthquakes in the southern hemisphere).

Two days a month, the Moon is on the celestial equator - the most likely time for an earthquake in either hemisphere.

The next day where the Moon is on the celestial equator is March 1...

I found this interesting.

Some of these idiots actually have, claiming that the warmer atmosphere and Oceans is putting excessive stress on the Earth’s crust.

Is the assumption that MAN has any control over nature.

What a brainless question. Did they think that nature was in control?

Is it supposed to be nswerable to the Environmental Czar, perhaps? Or the National Security Czar?

When was it ever under “control”? These people (MSNBC in this case but they’re part of a larger problem) are frighteningly stupid.

There’s no such thing as nature! But, I have it on unimpeachable authority that Jesus Christ has had it with mankind. Earthquakes are a symptom of our illness.

I guess we will have to fess up again. First it was by big cars and heating the house too warm which caused global warming. Now it is that we are building too many roads and buildings changing the center of gravity of the Earth. Old Mother Earth is just trying to compensate by having the Earth’s crust shift on the mantle. I just hope we do no fracture that hot molten core by drilling the oil wells too deep.
