“Judah’s type 2 form of suicide should be an indicator.”

For those of us who are Biblical illiterates???

Type 1 suicide is Adam and Eve’s desobedience. It’s a form of giving up.

Type 2 suicide is murder suicide: it is finding out that the one you murder you will need to go back to for help, help that will either not come or which will be answered with assured condemnation.

That’s true. People forget he liked to fight the liberals in NY and didn’t back down.

I know he’s not very popular here at FR but I’ve always liked Rudy—he tells it like it is.

I agree. I would take an Attorney General Rudy over this mess anyday.

Agreed.

When he begins with a phrase like “Let me get this straight” you better duck and run.

Yep! ;-)

I never stopped liking, and respecting, America’s Mayor, one Mr. Giuliani.

Rudy could be the Senator from New York just for the asking, but he is too selfish to run this year. I think it is crazy.

And of course he did run for President last time, and he had zero chance to win that. I think he got only one delegate to the convention.

Alan, are you in New York? Because if you are, I will certainly defer to your awareness of what is going on in the state. I had heard Rudy might run for NY governor, which I think is a better position for him than U.S. Senate. But then, things change so fast these days, I don’t keep up. So please fill me in, and.... Welcome to Free Republic.

Basically nothing is going on.

Rick Lazio will most likely lose to Cuomo for Governor.

And the GOP can’t find any name politicians to run for Senator, even though Gillibrand is very vulnerable.

I think of all the east coast Repubics who could have been prez, Rudy would have easily been the best of the lot. If he is a RINO (and i suppose he is) he’d definitely be my fave RINO.

I liked Rudy then and I like him now. He did trip up when he supported “sanctuary cities” so I went with another candidate... another RINO.... LOL!!!
