Put the errors together and it can be seen that one after another they tick off all the central, iconic issues of the entire global warming saga. Apart from those non-vanishing polar bears, no fears of climate change have been played on more insistently than these: the destruction of Himalayan glaciers and Amazonian rainforest; famine in Africa; fast-rising sea levels; the threat of hurricanes, droughts, floods and heatwaves all becoming more frequent.
All these alarms were given special prominence in the IPCC's 2007 report and each of them has now been shown to be based, not on hard evidence, but on scare stories, derived not from proper scientists but from environmental activists.

The IPCC won a Nobel Prize for this!
Yeah. We live in interesting times.
The absolute whimsical kicker to all this is that the Chief of the UN IPCC is not a scientist - he's an Engineer. A freek'in Railroad Engineer...an engine driver!!
So we got a railroad train driver and a politician that flunked out of Divinity School [Gore} as co-holders of the Nobel Prize. Science marches on......
...tell me the "wackiness quotient" of the world isn't going asymptotic to the vertical!
At the current spiral of things....I think that David Hasselhoff could even win a Nobel Prize for something.
This leads me to a great movie idea...a docu-comedy...where the Nobel committee has elected the “Hoff” for something and he’s come over a week prior (to drink, hustle the women, and get himself into various comic situations). We could even feature members of the committee who party it up with the “Hoff” and they all get fired at the end.
LOL.....now that’d be fun to watch. :)
