We've heard of keeping up with the Joneses but maybe the Welsh are taking it just a touch too far.
Perched on top of a 130ft tower, this ferocious-looking dragon glares out menacingly towards England across the Welsh border. The gigantic sculpture, which would reach higher than Nelson's Column - which is 169ft, is set to become the tallest public artwork ever built in the UK. Billed as Wales' answer to the Angel Of The North or the Statue Of Liberty, it aims to become a focus for national pride.

The area immediately around the building would depict various branches of the Mabinogion, the ancient Welsh folklore tale..... Especially the authentic 100-vehicle parking lot..

Can we buid one of these to stare at DC?So who is this a picture of you ask? Nathan Bedford Forrest (July 13, 1821 October 29, 1877) was accused of war crimes at the Battle of Fort Pillow for allowing forces under his command to conduct a massacre of black Union Army prisoners. He served as the first Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, an organization which launched a "reign of terror" against blacks and white Republicans during Reconstruction in the South.
So in answer to your question - Yes you can! But only if you can get enough like minded morons to contribute enough money to buy the land and build what you want. I doubt now that Reconstruction is complete and the South regularly votes for the party of Lincoln that you will be able to rais enough cash to do that. Poor you!
