I don't remember any Jews making physical threats.

I don't see how the First Amendment can be reconciled with the Mohammedans, IMHO. Besides quarantine, what can be done?

Through his embrace of relativism, modern man has made Christianity incomprehensible. He has made philosophy incomprehensible. He has, in fact, made civilization itself incomprehensible. For if there is no right or wrong, then civilization can be no better than barbarism.

A great description of todays Democrats on the road to tyranny. Once the above has been achieved a controlling central government is acceptable, logical and welcomed.

Besides quarantine, what can be done?

Ann Coulter's remedy, voiced immediately after 9/11, is still the best: "Invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity."

He did not say, "Let he who is without opinion cast the first stone"

True. what he did say is: "Let him who is without sin..."

One of my pet peeves.

"It is simply not possible to espouse relativism -- which holds that right and wrong are opinion -- and be a true Christian."

It is simply not possible to espouse relativism, and be a rational human being.

Relativism is self-defeating.

This is one thing that all rational people should be able to agree on, even the most liberal and/or secular and/or communistic people.

It may be true that when asked the average person seems to agree with the notion of relativism. However, if properly trained, he will most likely realize that relativism is inherently non-sensical, and what he really believes in is a highly tolerant pluralism.

Relativism and pluralism are not the same thing, although they appear to be the same in practice.

For better or worse, democracies are committed to pluralism until someone can convince everyone else of the certainty of his particular beliefs.

A belief in objective truth, including object moral truth, does not require a belief in God. It helps, but it is not necessary. The only thing you need to know to believe in an objective truth is that the alternatives (relative truth or no truth) are self-defeating positions.

If our nation's schools are unable to convey this simple understanding to the average student then it looks like we are destined for history's trash heap.

Now, because he is authentic, he believes that his religion contains the full deposit of faith.

Of course, a corollary of this is that he believes that mine does not.

and for me, theres the spot where I think we are screwed when dealin with muzzie combatants...we are unwilling to agree on a Christian absolute truth, which presupposes to be pc and give em the 'benefit of the doubt'...

while they fully believe in ruthless domination of every other person on the globe...

only one option for a rabid dog...
