Posturing for the benefit of the Kossites. The Democrats do not have the votes to pass the *House* version of Obamacare again, let alone the Senate version.
As long as Obama keeps talking about Obamacare, we all win. Not only does it keep improving our chances of winning a large majority in the House and a small majority in the Senate (which would become 60+ after 2012 and 2014), but it keeps the RATs from moving any other harmful legislation forward because all they talk about is Obamacare.
Oh, please, Mr. Obama, DO go ahead and do this. Pull this trigger, so to speak. Make the next step in turning around your Liberofascist agenda EASY...

I honstely believe they have NO IDEA what the people's rage will be over this.
Can the Supreme Court strike this down in it’s entirety if they find one portion of it unconstitutional?
Not asking if they would - just if they are capable of undoing the entire thing if they say “this piece is unconstitutional” (i.e. the being forced to buy health insurance provision)
They keep saying that they just need a “simple majority” to pass it even though the VAST MAJORITY oppose it. Will Obolshevik veto it if a “simple majority” vote to repeal it?
Remember when the Republicans could have used 51 votes in the Senate to stop the Demoncrat filibuster of judges that they had held up for over 2 years?
Back then, the MSM called it the NUCLEAR OPTION!
Now, it is "Reconciliation."
Just yesterday and today other minions were talking about a “new” scaled-down bill, and then later today, Hoyer said he didn’t know what they were talking about.
Obviously, utter chaos reins among the Obamunists, which I must say gladdens my heart!
Clearly, the Obamuninsts are now in full-blown thrash-mode, with no hope of passing their government health care takeover monstrosity after Senator Scott Brown crushed Martha Coakley in Massachusetts (the bluest of blue states), finally awakening the previously deluded rank-and-file Congressional Dims to their impending mortal peril.
The Obamunists would have rammed the original Senate horror through long ago if they had the votes, since every day closer to November diminishes the chances of enough House Dims committing political suicide. (Notice how all of the rhetoric is emanating only from the The Leaders? That’s because the rank-and-file Dims are too busy quaking with fear to make a peep.)
The Obamunists are now reduced to jawboning, simply trying to delay that moment when the Obama Presidency is officially declared kaput. All the Pubs have to do is hang tough while the Obamunists self-destruct. And when the inevitable crash comes, a lot of people are going to be really angry that the Obamunists have paralyzed the country for so long with poisonous legislation that the vast majority of voters hate.
The leftists will be outraged when their hoped for change goes poof when finally told, oh by the way, hopes all gone, too bad, so sorry, no change. The centrists and independents will be outraged because the Obamunists have been crassly fiddling The Government Health Care Takeover Ditty the whole time the U.S. economy has been burning to the ground.
Watching the failure of a Presidency is quite entertaining, actually, and ..... Oh darn, I’m out of popcorn again. Guess I’ll see if my wife is willing to pop us another batch!
do it. it will help us get rid of you libs and rino’s.
Will be interesting to see if Byrd supports this, since he sponsored a revision of Senate rules to prevent just such an action.
Honestly people - this has always been plan A for the Communist in Chief.
Believe me when I say that he is totally unprepared to deal with the **** storm that will come once he transgresses our Rules and Laws.
This is the kind of idiot who actually believes that he has to burn this village in order to save it (America) and that is exactly what he is prepared to do.
No matter what the Senate Republicans promise the house has to pass the senate bill. Is Obama inviting the GOP to a conference bill negotiation if the GOP Senate waives a filibuster in the conference bill.
I think Obama is screwed.
Obamanation: “Yap yap yap, blah blah blah, reconciliation, yap yap yap!”
Pelousi: “Yap yap yap, blah blah blah, reconciliation, yap yap yap!”
Reality: no reconciliation vote!
Point: If they had the votes to do it, they’d have already done it.
The key issue is the House passing the Senate version.
“used for deficit reduction and health care reform will reduce the deficit”
These days, this is all everyone does: claim some tenuous connection to what really is applicable (most famously, this is done with the “Commerce Clause”). E.g., same thing with seat-belt “safety” laws because it will “reduce everyone’s insurance rates”.
