Barack Obama will announce tomorrow that democrats will use the nuclear option to takeover the health care industry.
White House officials tell ABC News that in his remarks tomorrow President Obama will indicate a willingness to work with Republicans on some issue to get a health care reform bill passed but will suggest that if it is necessary, Democrats will use the controversial reconciliation rules requiring only 51 Senate votes to pass the fix to the Senate bill, as opposed to the 60 votes to stop a filibuster and proceed to a vote on a bill.
Lawmakers on Capitol Hill have been awaiting the presidents remarks direction on how health care reform will proceed.
In his remarks, scheduled to be at the White House, the president will paint a picture of what he will say will happen without a health care reform bill skyrocketing premiums, everyone at the mercy of the insurance industry as recently seen with the 39% premium increases proposed by Anthem Blue Cross in California.

I’ll believe it when I see it. So far they are all talk.
Let them own it entirely. They’re toast.

So much for separation of powers, Obama's writing legislation and now making decision's on what rules the congress he will ignore to push it through.
Well, I guess we should be happy that he's going through the motions at all instead of just deciding to impose it through executive order...

Will someone tell the ‘scholar’ that (A) It’s unconstitutional, and (B) Reconciliation cannot be used.
It’s time to start impeachment re: oath/constitution.

They are not listening. They no longer have the consent of the governed. They are on their way out. I don’t think we should elect a single ‘rat for the next 3 or 4 cycles - teach them a lesson. You will listen to the will of the people. The people you are elected to serve and represent, not rule and use.

...skyrocketing premiums, everyone at the mercy of the insurance industry as recently seen with the 39% premium increases proposed by Anthem Blue Cross in California...this kind of demagoguery is infuriating - government health programs - Medicare and Medicaid - routinely underpay providers for the actual cost of care by at least 10 percent - providers have to make up the difference somehow or they go bankrupt - so they usually shift the cost to private payers, including the insurance companies, who then are vilified by the likes of Obama and the 'rats for their rapidly rising premiums - everyone is at the mercy of the government's interference into the health care field, and it's only going to get worse......

This video needs to be run nationally on tv to let the people see how the dems are a bunch of hypocrites on the 51 vote nuclear option.

"(B) Reconciliation cannot be used." Well it sure looks like they are going to try and I believe that the Democrats could give two s**ts about the rules of the senate.

I have seen snippets of the Obama, Biden, and Hillary clips on Fox. But I agree, not only does it need to be on the tube, we need to make it go viral online.
Am sending to my entire address book. Think I will post it here tomorrow as a thread.
