Don’t be overconfident. The poor can assert themselves at any time they choose. In TX on March 2, 86 percent of voters did not participate. Democrats can win if they get their slaves to the polls.

Yes. There are at least 3 Republicans looking (1 officially declared) at this seat.
The other MA seat to look at is (MA-5), currently held by Niki Tsongas. She is just plain dumb; bad even by MA standards. Bwaney Franklover and McGovern also have decent looking opponents lining up against them.
I could see 2, up to 4 MA US House seats flipping Republican this year. Combine that with Brown's win, and the Rats are toast nationally.
What's scary is that the Rats know it and mostly appear content with being kamikazes.

Well, that’s one of the many recent congress criters who have announced they’re getting out. Why are there so many who are calling it quits? What do they know that the rest of us don’t?

Yeah, but about 10 or so Republicans have also announced retirements.

Yeah, but about 10 or so Republicans have also announced retirements. The MSM is attempting to paint the nation's mood as anti-incumbent, and to an extent it is, but it's even more anti-democrat. The last thing you'd want to be right now is a democrat incumbent, but a RINO incumbent isn't safe either.

Define “awhile”. Probably since healthcare became a huge issue and Obama wants all the dems to fall on their swords so he can have a nice Stalinist legacy.

Our current Congress knows that America is slipping into insolvency, and that there will be no fun in being a legislator in the near future since there will be no money to spend. We have gotten to that point which Margaret Thatcher described as “running out of other people’s money”. The next Congress will have to make some Draconian spending cuts in order for America to survive. The ones leaving now (Republican and Democrat alike) are a bunch of gutless cowards who don’t want to face up to the catastrophe they have created. Come to think of it, the ones who aren’t retiring are a bunch of cowards as well.

He says in a statement that "he's been "wrestling with this decision for a while."
He says in a statement that "he's been "wrestling with this decision ever since Pelosi, Reid, and Obama have been destroying, with the help of the Democrat Party in Congress, the chances of ever getting elected again."

The rats have discovered that the Dem party is now the nationalist socialist party of an Obama proposed 4th Reich.
The shock of this discovery makes them bail.

Obama already has had his little fire, and has suceeeded in havung Pelosi and Reid lock Republicans out of all legislative conferences fro a year, suceeeded in keeping legislation secret from the public until hours before a vote.
Obama has already had his Reichstag fire. Becaaause the MSM has not reprted it, even Republicans refuse to admit that the Reischstag fire has already happened.
And now Obama will use budget reconciliation to circumvent the legislative process. Reichstag fire? Already happened.
Maybe its Obama chain smoking?
America is being ruled by an executive Junta.

usually my response is that the cowards should stop fleeing and face the voter revolt. In his case, I’d rather he face an interrogation over what happened with Amy.
