Our current Congress knows that America is slipping into insolvency, and that there will be no fun in being a legislator in the near future since there will be no money to spend. We have gotten to that point which Margaret Thatcher described as “running out of other people’s money”. The next Congress will have to make some Draconian spending cuts in order for America to survive.
