“Well then we are in more trouble than I ever thought. Guess we are screwed either way.”

Yep...as long as we keep electing these pretend republicans.

They count on stupid US to educate feed clothe and treat medically their millions of kids, both illegal kids and anchor babies. Where will these illegals get money to pay these fees and taxes?

They won't. You and I pay for it. It can't last. Most Border states are bankrupt. The only logical ideas are build the fence, arrest illegals and deport them, or the country won't survive. Am I missing something here? How can they even think of amnesty?

And don't gimme' the racist bit. I would feel the same way if 50 million Germans crossed the border illegally and did the same thing. . .

You are exactly right but I want someone in the media to bring this up. All the amnesty people say, ; SEE we will not just give them citizenship they will have to work for it and pay for it., No one ever says how can illegals who are already sucking us dry have enough money to pay these fees.

I live in Texas. Most legal Hispanics, even those who have come here lately are not in favor of illegals, as they drain the legal Hispanics dry just like the rest of us,
The only people who are for this are the Dems who want to sign them up.
I still get called xenophpbic and a nativist for not wanting lawbreakers draining our resources

My guess is that Congress is exhausted by 0bama Care.,P>I doubt they look forward to a repeat of the heat they took during the last round. 0bama is Delusional.

Could be the first use of the 25th (?) Amendment.

Well, when this passes, we won’t even have to worry about him being here legally any more.

Glad to hear the Legal Hispanics are just as upset as we are. They've worked hard, just like the rest of us. Part of the problem with the current illegal crowd is they are also a product of the culture war-entitlement-pop-culture-in your face-Alinsky attitude problem we are all dealing with. I doubt if my first grade teacher, Sister Rosalie, would have approved of the Gringo sign above. . .

As you say, the Dems are the ones for this and only want to sign them up for the votes. We must fight this tooth and nail. Hhaarrumph and remember the Founders!

How can anything that REWARDS people for breaking the law be called (with any level of ethical or logical foundation) - “reform”?

Both Bush and McCain wanted to give illegal immigrants, excuse me, "guest workers" something along these lines, so you might start by asking them. McCain even sent Palin to speak with Univision and confirm they wanted some kind of amnesty while they were campaigning, in order to win over Hispanics.

Frankly, I'm surprised it's taken Obama this long. I look to McCain to help him out.

You posted, “Both Bush and McCain wanted to give illegal immigrants, excuse me, “guest workers” something along these lines, so you might start by asking them. “

BUT the salient point is Bush did NOT get it done so asking him is a waste of time. Look forward. The only people we need to be calling are people involved today. mc/cain will be one.
ANYONE who supports this needs a call from every Freeper.

One question should do it. WHO will pay the fees for the illegals since we know they can’t pay it themselves.

On top of the whole illegals thing is the Jobs issue. All small businesses are on hold waiting to see what their Federal and State Legislatures are going to do. What's Obama got up his sleave? Is he thinking of Martial Law? Are they going to pass Health Care? What about Cap and Trade? How much are Taxes going to go up? What about Card Check? Are their more government rules and regulations down the pike? More EPA mandates? More hiring mandates? Affirmative action rules? Everyone is either Going Galt or all entrepreneurial plans are on hold for now. No new R & D. No new hiring. . . What an absolute shame. . . The greatest country on earth is bucking in the bull pen just waiting to get out. . . but everyone is waiting cautiously. All because of a communist mole that the masses elected as President. . Three more years sounds like an awfully long time. . . At least November 2, 2010 will be here before you know it. Continue to be as active as you can. . . Resist!

>> This is why we have to elect Kirk. This crap would never reach the Senate with a GOP majority. <<

Dengar, I don't know what planet you've been living on but this "path to citizenship" crap was ALL over the news when we had a GOP majority in the Senate, and President Bush made it a priority of his administration. The amnesty bill reached the Senate floor twice, and RINOs like Kirk (including those MUCH more conservative than Kirk like Lindsey Graham) happily support it.

Given Kirk's past record on illegal aliens (he gets mediocre ratings from anti-illegal groups), there's no reason to presume Kirk would suddenly become a staunch opponent of amnesty. Kirk panders to his "undocumented" constituents, attended college at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and has been weak on illegals during his entire career.

You can ignore history, but "lifelong Republicans" like Chafee and Jeffords have proven your claims about RINOs "delivering" a Republican majority wrong.

You say you're tired of "out of staters" complaining about Kirk. I'm tired of out-of-staters telling me THEY can sit home and scream bloody hell because their Senator only does their bidding 80% of the time, but meanwhile I have to elect a socialist who votes with the Dems most of the time because that's "the best we can get" in Illinois. If that's not a regional insult, I don't know what is.

July 21, 2006 Two Texans busted in bogus ID operation in NJ
NORTH BERGEN, NJ -- Pelcastre brothers, Angel and Jorge, Dallas, Texas, were a walking threat to US national security , expert document forgers who, for a few thousand dollars, could give anyone a new identity, authorities said. The Texas brothers turned a NJ hotel room into a business office and were readying a massive cache of fake Social Security cards for delivery to a local NJ identity broker.

The Texas brothers were a "one-stop shop" for a myriad of fake US documents, including birth certificates, Social Security cards, driver's licenses for any state in the US, passports and resident alien cards, said state police. Officers happened upon two cars bearing Texas plates in a NJ hotel parking lot. Authorities wouldn't identify the NJ hotel by name for fear it would spark retribution. The Drug Interdiction Task Force, regularly runs checks.

The Texas brothers were followed to a NJ office supply store nearby where they purchased computer supplies. Officers then followed the Texans to a NJ storage facility in Secaucus, NJ, where the Texans loaded several boxes into a car. One of them stood lookout. Authorities approached the Texas brothers when they returned to the NJ hotel and questioned them separately. The Texas brothers consented to a search.

Police recovered laminating sheets with built-in security features, pages of blank documents waiting for fake names and information, finished documents, computers and software to create the fake IDs. All told, the haul was worth about $500,000 on the street. Police also recovered $6,000 in cash, which was the first payment from a NJ fake document broker for a shipment of 500 Social Security cards.

March 3, 2010 TWO ILLEGAL ALIENS, Cruz Mario Carnacion, 37 and Jose Luis Trejo-Yanez were arrested in possession of more than 500 STOLEN 7-inch spike's that were taken from the railroad tracks owned by Norfolk Southern Railroad.........endangering the lives of hundreds of Americans. This incident is similar to illegal aliens stealing railroad tracks and spikes from railroads near Yuma, AZ, and arrested by US Customs and Border Patrol March 11, 2008.

=====================================================

Oct 25, 2009 American Patrol Report---Savage Zetas, descendants of the Aztecs, known for beheading and dismembering their enemies, are integrating their primitive savagery into the US.

In his groundbreaking book, Wakeup Call from Mexico, Wilson Beck describes how the dark side of Mexico stretches back to the days of the Aztecs when hundreds of thousands of people were sacrificed and eaten each year. He says today many young men in Mexico are enamored with the idea of being descendants of the Aztecs.

Now, according to the Houston Chronicle, the brutal savage Zetas, known for beheading and dismembering their enemies, are tightening their grip on an area bordering Southern Texas.

Critics say our CIA and State Department are well aware of the dark side of Mexico and regularly brief U.S. presidents on the reality south of the border. “It is unfortunate that Mexico got off to such a bad start,” said Glenn Spencer of the American Patrol Report,” but it is wrong to sacrifice the United States of America to correct problems south of the border.”

Spencer said while Mexicans are being besieged, which is nothing new for them, Americans are being betrayed by a government that refuses to protect them.

Despite this, President Bush and now President Obama have been secretly working to integrate the US and Mexico into a common political and economic unit.

FReepers, this will warm the cockles of your heart.

=======================================

If any state was ripe for a demonstration of Third World election force, it was the Nov 2009 race for NJ governor. The race was considered a "squeaker" that would go on till all hours. But two hours after the polls closed, the Repub was declared the winner with a comfortable 4-point margin (would have been higher were it not for Dem voter fraud).

The winning Republican Lt Governor candidate----a County Sheriff----was lacerated by latino groups b/c she had applied for the federal 287(g) program. Latinos began an allout assault---accusing the Sheriff of "political pandering" and for scouting incidents of indictable offenses such as driving under the influence by undocumented immigrants coming into the County jail, and asking about about immigration status, regardless of the offense.

The Sheriff had simply sought to ensure that "illegal criminals" were not unduly released for fear illegals would further harm the citizenry and the community.

===============================================

Ohaha was heavly invested in the NJ gubernatorial race. Ohaha's carefully laid plans----for installing a permanent Dem majority w/ illegals-----went haywire. Pulling out all the stops for NJ made Ohaha a VERY good target for those disgusted with Ohaha’s policies.

OBAMA WAS DESPERATE FOR A NJ WIN TO PROTECT THE WH AGENDA. Obama put the power of the WH machine behind Corzine. The NY Times reported:
(a) every TV ad Corzine put on the air was being screened by Obama's WH team.
(b) Corzine's aides gave the WH daily briefings.
(c) Obama’s pollsters took over for Corzine’s polling team.
(d) White House operatives were on the ground for internal strategy sessions.
(e) White House operatives were orchestrating obscure pep rallies with Latinos (kept secret from voters).
(f) Corzine had a "Peruvian Pac" endorsing him.
(g) Ohaha campaigned in the state three times, Biden was there twice. Ohaha TV ads ran relentlessly in costly NY media markets.
(h) Corzine promised to give illegals driving credentials & in-state tuition.
(i) Corzine sucked up bigtime and REFUSED to enforce current immigration laws.
(j)Corzine formed a Blue Ribbon committee of latinos and other hypenates who were using tax dollars to mine votes for Corzine.
(k) Also sucking up to illegals was Democrat US Sen Robert Menendez, a Spanish-speaking Corzine campaigner.
(l)Corzine appointed latinos to the Supreme Court and to other high profile state jobs.

Other pertinent facts:

>> Incumbent Dem Jon Corzine (the wealthy loser) outspent the Repub winner about 4-1.
>> New Jersey has a huge Democratic registration.
>> Corzine bragged he had 20,000 paid union helpers on the ground election day to get out the vote.
>> There was a third party candidate siphoning off Republican votes.
>> Corzine had the power of incumbency.
>> Corzine had the power of a crooked Democrat Machine cooking the vote.
>> Ohaha hid $17.5 BILLION stimlulus in New Jersey.....for Corzine's reelection campaign.

And still Corzine lost.

====================================

The WH's lack of political savvy was glaringly on display. Early in the NJ campaign, an onslaught of weird WH approved-ads blanketed the pricey NY media markets-----showed Ohaha at a NJ rally praising Corzine---with strange "reaction shots" of people w/ deadpan faces, watching Ohaha. Predictably Corzine's numbers fell precipitously.

But WH know-it-alls still didn't "get it." Ohaha and Biden came back to NJ---more weird Ohaha ads ensued. Corzine also ran sap-happy liberal "I got feelings" ads. None of the pundits thought the Repubs could pull it off. The rest is history. It appears the WH bombed.....the unions failed Corzine.....and the Latino suckup failed.

THE UPSHOT According to Ohaha's slimy Press Secretary, Robert Gibbs, Ohaha was "busy with other matters" election night and "wasn't really concerned" with election results... an indication the WH is sucking up valium and vodka in order to anesthetize themselves from the aftermath.....trying to convince themselves the election was not a referendum on Obama, and the futile push for amnesty.

Then came the shock of Massachusetts.

Amnesty means Third World Mob Rule. Ohaha is smoking something illegal if he thinks Americans will become accustomed to Third World mob rule---just on his say-so.

Undocumented workers would need to register, pay taxes and pay a penalty for violating the law. Failure to comply might result in deportation.

This reminds me of what Obama is saying about saving money in Medicare by going after the fraud and all. To which I reply to both the illegals and Medicare - why the heck aren't y'all doing that already. Why does a bill have to be passed to be doing what should be done already?

nearly 70% of the population wants a crack down on illegal immergration

Politicians have been known to ignore the population. ;-) It's a wedge issue for the GOP because the McCain wing of the party are sometimes some of those politicians.
