Well, avoiding a conviction is always good.

But if you’re arrested drunk, they’ll probably prove it with or without your consent.

And it doesn’t matter, with a refusal. You lose your license ~anyway~.

You do not have to explain to tgecworld as to why you do not have a DL but you will have to explain why you have a conviction.

However, here in Austin, they sometimes do forced blood draws fot all that refuse a breath test.
